A Vision for Kingdom Devotion - by Jon Kropf | KFWest Visionary Weekend 2023

Description

We are part of a kingdom—not an individual who is saved alone with freedom to live by his own dictates. We have a king and live under his rules. We are in a community. We are part of something bigger than ourselves. We must devote ourselves to being sold out to God’s kingdom. It is believed that Psalm 101 was written at the time of David’s Coronation or shortly before. It was his commitment as to how he would conduct his kingdom charge. Here we see his commitment (solemn vow) before God and how he resolved to order his personal life, his family life, and his kingdom life. I will do right. I will not do evil. I will not listen to evil men or give them positions of power. I will surround myself with good men. I will lead and order my life, home, and kingdom (sphere of influence) in righteousness.
