Chapter 9: Examples of the Saints.

THEREFORE: let us obey His excellent and glorious will; and seeking His mercy and loving-kindness, while we give up all fruitless work, strife, and envy, which lead to death, let us turn and seek His compassion. Let us steadfastly consider those who have perfectly served His excellent glory. Let us take, for example, Enoch, who was found righteous in obedience and was taken up, never experiencing death. Noah, being found faithful, preached renewal to the world through his ministry; and the Lord saved the animals by him, who entered the ark together.
