Story Behind the Song
"Uyai Mose" is a Shona praise song from Zimbabwe by Alexander Gondo, widely circulated in English-speaking churches through global-song and Iona Community/Wild Goose collections as "Come, All You People." "Yesu Azali Awa" is a traditional Congolese Lingala folk hymn meaning "Jesus is here." The two songs are often used in congregational and choral settings as short, repetitive African praise choruses.
