What gift of grace is Jesus my redeemer
There is no more for heaven now to give
He is my joy, my righteousness, and freedom
Story Behind the Song
“Yet Not I but Through Christ in Me” is a modern congregational worship song written by Michael Farren, Rich Thompson, and Jonny Robinson and published in 2018 by CityAlight Music and associated publishers. Its title and central theme draw directly from Galatians 2:20, emphasizing the believer’s life, perseverance, and hope as being found in Christ rather than in self. The song has been widely adopted in contemporary evangelical worship settings.
