Translation history. The first complete Spanish Bible (Casiodoro de Reina's Biblia del Oso) appeared in 1569. Today the most-read Spanish translations are the Reina-Valera (1960 and 1995 revisions), the Nueva Versión Internacional (NVI), and the Dios Habla Hoy (Today's Spanish Version).
