And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train; and there came camels bearing spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and she came in to Solomon, and told him all that was in her heart.

Or with rulers, whose gold was abundant, Who filled their houses with silver:

His lair is formed of sharp points; And all the gold of the sea under him is as an immense quantity of clay.

As silver and gold are tried in a furnace, So are choice hearts with the Lord.

The isles have waited for me, and the ships of Tarshish among the first, to bring thy children from afar, and their silver and their gold with them, and that for the sake of the holy name of the Lord, and because the Holy One of Israel is glorified.

as to be clothed in purple, to drink in gold, and to sleep upon gold, and a chariot with bridles of gold, and a headtire of fine linen, and a chain about his neck:

As gold in the furnace hath he tried them, And received them as a burnt offering.

Neither compared I unto her any precious stone, Because all gold in respect of her is as a little sand, And silver shall be counted as clay before her.

But miserable are they, and in dead things is their hope, Who called them gods, which are the works of men’s hands, Gold and silver, to show art in, And resemblances of beasts, Or a stone good for nothing, the work of an ancient hand.

For gold is tried in the fire, And acceptable men in the furnace of adversity.

Get learning with a great sum of money, And get much gold by her.
