And he said to them, Is he well? And they said, He is well. And behold Rachel his daughter came with the sheep.

And Israel said to him, Go and see if thy brethren and the sheep are well, and bring me word; and he sent him out of the Valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

And he asked them, How are ye? and he said to them, Is your father, the old man of whom ye spoke, well? Does he yet live?

And they said, Thy servant our father is well; he is yet alive. And he said, Blessed be that man by God—and they bowed, and did him reverence.

And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and says, I will go and return to my brethren in Egypt, and will see if they are yet living. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in health. And in those days after some time, the king of Egypt died.

And thus shall ye say, May thou and thy house seasonably prosper, and all thine be in prosperity.

And the king said to the woman, Go in peace to thy house, and I will give commandment concerning thee.

And Joab said to Amasa, Art thou in health, my brother? and the right hand of Joab took hold of the beard of Amasa to kiss him.

And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.

And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

But tell me, what wages shall I give thee? wilt thou a drachma a day, and things necessary, as to mine own son?

But Anna his mother wept, and said to Tobit, Why hast thou sent away our son? is he not the staff of our hand, in going in and out before us?

For the good angel will keep him company, and his journey shall be prosperous, and he shall return safe.

Then she made an end of weeping.

And when they were come near to Rages,

And he came to the house of Raguel; and Sarah met him: and saluted him, and he them; and she brought them into the house.

And they said, He is both alive, and in good health: and Tobias said, He is my father.

Then he called his daughter Sarah, and she came to her father, and he took her by the hand, and gave her to be wife to Tobias, saying, Behold, take her after the law of Moses, and lead her away to thy father. And he blessed them;

and then he should take the half of his goods, and go in safety to his father; and should have the rest when I and my wife be dead.

To whom Tobit said, Hold thy peace, take no care, for he is safe.

Then Raguel arose, and gave him Sarah his wife, and half his goods, servants, and cattle, and money:

And he said to his daughter, Honor thy father and thy mother-in-law, which are now thy parents, that I may hear good report of thee. And he kissed her. Edna also said to Tobias, The Lord of heaven restore thee, my dear brother, and grant that I may see thy children of my daughter Sarah before I die, that I may rejoice before the Lord: behold, I commit my daughter unto thee, of special trust; wherefore do not entreat her evil.

But Tobit gave thanks before them, because God had mercy on him. And when he came near to Sarah his daughter-in-law, he blessed her, saying, Thou art welcome, daughter: God be blessed, which hath brought thee unto us, and blessed be thy father and thy mother. And there was joy among all his brethren which were at Nineveh.

for he hath brought me again to thee in safety, and made whole my wife, and brought me the money, and likewise healed thee.

So he called the angel, and he said unto him, Take half of all that ye have brought, and go away in safety.

In the hundred fourscore and eighth year, the people that were at Jerusalem and in Judea, and the council, and Judas, sent greeting and health unto Aristobulus, King Ptolemy’s master, who was of the stock of the anointed priests, and to the Jews that were in Egypt:

Antiochus, king and governor, to the good Jews his citizens wisheth much joy, health, and prosperity:

If ye fare well, we have our desire; we are also in good health.
