For I am hunted like a lion for slaughter; For again thou hast changed and art terribly destroying me;

Let his eyes see his own destruction, And let him not be saved by the Lord.

And if their children be many, they shall be for slaughter: And if they grow up, they shall beg.

For, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; We are counted as sheep for slaughter.

And that as an ox is led to the slaughter, And as a dog to bonds, Or as a hart shot in the liver with an arrow:

For the wrath of the Lord is upon all nations, and his anger upon the number of them, to destroy them, and give them up to slaughter.

The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, it is glutted with fat, with the blood of goats and lambs, and with the fat of goats and rams: for the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in Edom.
