Let my lord go on before his servant, and I shall have strength on the road according to the ease of the journey before me, and according to the strength of the children, until I come to my lord to Seir.

And Moses wrote their removals and their stages, by the word of the Lord: and these are the stages of their journeying.

And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.

Thy goings, O God, have been seen; The goings of my God, the king, in the sanctuary.

And he treasures up salvation for them that walk uprightly: He will protect their way;

Turn not aside to the right hand nor to the left, But turn away thy foot from an evil way: But those on the left are crooked: And will guide thy steps in peace.

Thus saith the Lord, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and have walked with an outstretched neck, and with winking of the eyes, and motion of the feet, at the same time drawing their garments in trains, and at the same time sporting with their feet:

Thus saith the Lord, With a strong hand they revolt from the course of the way of this people, saying,

O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

For my people have forgotten me, they have offered incense in vain, and they fail in their ways, leaving the ancient tracks, to enter upon impassable paths;

And Jonah arose, and went to Nineveh, as the Lord had spoken. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city, of about three days’ journey.

And Jonah began to enter into the city about a day’s journey, and he proclaimed, and said, Yet three days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end: darkness shall pursue those that rise up against him and his enemies.

And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

Then he went forth and all his power to go before King Nebuchadnezzar in the voyage, and to cover all the face of the earth westward with their chariots, and horsemen and their chosen footmen.

And their going from us to be utter destruction: But they are in peace.

Or as when a bird hath flown through the air, There is no token of her way to be found, But the light air being beaten with the stroke of her wings, And parted with the violent noise and motion of them, Is passed through, and therein afterward no sign where she went is to be found;

Great is the Lord that made it; And at his commandment it runneth hastily.
