Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

son of Uri the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,

And Bezalel the son of Uri of the tribe of Judah, did as the Lord commanded Moses.

And David sent and inquired about the woman: and one said, Is not this Bathsheba the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

And David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite; and Joab sent Uriah to David.

And Uriah arrived and went in to him, and David asked him how Joab was, and how the people were, and how the war went on.

And David said to Uriah, Go to thy house, and wash thy feet: and Uriah departed from the house of the king, and a portion of meat from the king followed him.

And Uriah slept at the door of the king with the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.

And they brought David word, saying, Uriah has not gone down to his house. And David said to Uriah, Art thou not come from a journey? why hast thou not gone down to thy house?

And Uriah said to David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah dwell in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; and shall I go into my house to eat and drink, and lie with my wife? how should I do this? as thy soul lives, I will not do this thing.

And David said to Uriah, Remain here today also, and tomorrow I will let thee go. So Uriah remained in Jerusalem that day and the day following.

And the morning came, and David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.

And he wrote in the letter, saying, Station Uriah in front of the severe part of the fight, and retreat from behind him, so shall he be wounded and die.

And it came to pass while Joab was watching against the city, that he set Uriah in a place where he knew that valiant men were.

And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and some of the people of the servants of David fell, and Uriah the Hittite died also.

Who smote Abimelech the son of Jerubbaal son of Ner? did not a woman cast a piece of a millstone upon him from above the wall, and he died in Thebez? why did ye draw near to the wall? then thou shalt say, Thy servant Uriah the Hittite is also dead.

And the archers shot at thy servants from off the wall, and some of the king’s servants died, and thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.

And the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, and she mourned for her husband.

Why hast thou set at nought the word of the Lord, to do that which is evil in his eyes? thou hast slain Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and thou hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and thou hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

Now therefore the sword shall not depart from thy house forever, because thou hast set me at nought, and thou hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite, to be thy wife.

And Nathan departed to his house. And the Lord smote the child, which the wife of Uriah the Hittite bore to David, and it was ill.

Uriah the Hittite: thirty and seven in all.

And King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-pileser king of the Assyrians at Damascus; and he saw an altar at Damascus. And King Ahaz sent to Uriah the priest the pattern of the altar, and its proportions, and all its workmanship.

And Uriah the priest built the altar, according to all the directions which King Ahaz sent from Damascus.

And King Ahaz charged Uriah the priest, saying, Offer upon the great altar the whole burnt offering in the morning and the meat offering in the evening, and the whole burnt offering of the king, and his meat offering, and the whole burnt offering of all the people, and their meat offering, and their drink offering; and thou shalt pour all the blood of the whole burnt offering, and all the blood of any other sacrifice upon it: and the brazen altar shall be for me in the morning.

And Uriah the priest did according to all that King Ahaz commanded him.

Uriah the Hittite, Zabad son of Ahlai,

And the brazen altar which Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, was there before the tabernacle of the Lord: and Solomon and the congregation inquired at it.

And make me witnesses of faithful men, Uriah, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

Hearken with great attention, and call thou Urias to the watchtower: the Lord has spoken. I stood continually during the day, and I stood in the camp all the night:

And there was another man prophesying in the name of the Lord, Uriah the son of Shemaiah of Kiriath-jearim; and he prophesied concerning this land according to all the words of Jeremiah.

And King Jehoiakim and all the princes heard all his words, and sought to slay him; and Uriah heard it and went into Egypt.

And from the river Theras we departed the twelfth day of the first month, and came to Jerusalem by the mighty hand of our Lord, which was with us: and from the beginning of our journey the Lord delivered us from every enemy, and so we came to Jerusalem.

And there stood up by him Mattathiah, Shema, Ananias, Azariah, Uriah, Hezekiah, Baalsamus, upon the right hand:
