And the Lord God smelled a smell of sweetness, and the Lord God having considered, said, I will not anymore curse the earth, because of the works of men, because the imagination of man is intently bent upon evil things from his youth, I will not therefore anymore smite all living flesh as I have done.

And he drew nigh and kissed him, and smelled the smell of his garments, and blessed him, and said, Behold, the smell of my son Is as the smell of an abundant field, which the Lord has blessed.

And they said to them, The Lord look upon you and judge you, for ye have made our savor abominable before Pharaoh, and before his servants, to put a sword into his hands to slay us.

And thou shalt offer the whole ram on the altar, a whole burnt offering to the Lord for a sweet-smelling savor: it is an offering of incense to the Lord.
