And the sons of Pedaiah; Zerubbabel, and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith was their sister.

And the sons of Hananiah, Pelatiah, and Jeshaiah his son, Rephaiah his son, Arnan his son, Obadiah his son, Shecaniah his son.

and Hananiah, and Ambri, and Elam, and Anthothijah,

To Heman were reckoned the sons of Heman, Bukkiah, and Mattaniah, and Uzziel, and Shebuel, and Jerimoth, and Hananiah, and Hanani, and Eliathah, and Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, and Joshbekashah, and Mallothi, and Hothir, and Mahazioth.

the sixteenth Hananiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:

And Uzziah had a host of warriors, and that went out orderly to war, and returned orderly in number; and their number was made by the hand of Jeiel the scribe, and Maaseiah the judge, by the hand of Ananias the king’s deputy.

And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.

And in the days of Joiakim were priests, the chief of the fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;

And it came to pass in the fourth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fifth month, that Hananiah the false prophet, the son of Azzur, from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord, in the sight of the priests and all the people, saying,

Then Jeremiah spoke to Hananiah in the sight of all the people, and in the sight of the priests that stood in the house of the Lord,

Then Hananiah took the yokes from the neck of Jeremiah in the sight of all the people, and broke them to pieces.

And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus said the Lord; Thus will I break the yoke of the king of Babylon from the necks of all the nations. And Jeremiah went his way.

And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, after that Hananiah had broken the yokes off his neck, saying,

Go and speak to Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but I will make instead of them yokes of iron.

And Jeremiah said to Hananiah, The Lord has not sent thee; and thou hast caused this people to trust in unrighteousness.

and I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Ananias, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, who dwells near the house of the princes that are over the house of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, who kept the court.

And he went down to the king’s house, into the house of the scribe: and, behold, there were sitting there all the princes, Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.

And he was in the gate of Benjamin, and there was there a man with whom he lodged, Irijah the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he caught Jeremiah, saying, Thou art fleeing to the Chaldeans.

Now these were among them of the children of Judah, Daniel, and Hananiah, and Azariah, and Mishael.

And the chief of the eunuchs gave them names: to Daniel, Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, Shadrach; and to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego.

And Daniel said to Amelsad, whom the chief of the eunuchs had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

And the king spoke with them; and there were not found out of them all any like Daniel, and Hananiah, and Mishael, and Azariah: and they stood before the king.

So Daniel went into his house, and made known the matter to Hananiah, and Mishael, and Azariah, his friends.

Praise and exalt him above all forever: For he hath delivered us from hell, and saved us from the hand of death, And delivered us out of the midst of the furnace and burning flame: Even out of the midst of the fire hath he delivered us.

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:

And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,

And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.

And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.

And of the sons of Immer: Hanani, and Zebadiah, and Manes, and Shemaiah, and Jehiel, and Azariah.

Of the sons of Bebai; Jehohanan, and Hananiah, and Zabbai, and Emathis.

And there stood up by him Mattathiah, Shema, Ananias, Azariah, Uriah, Hezekiah, Baalsamus, upon the right hand:

Also Jeshua, Anniuth, Sherebiah, Jadinus, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maiannas, and Kelita, Azariah, and Jozabad, and Hanan, Pelaiah, the Levites, taught the law of the Lord, and read the law of the Lord to the multitude, making them withal to understand it.

Now at that time Judith heard thereof, which was the daughter of Merari, the son of Ox, the son of Joseph, the son of Oziel, the son of Elkiah, the son of Elijah, the son of Hilkiah, the son of Eliab, the son of Nathanael, the son of Salamiel, the son of Sarasadai, the son of Israel.

Then Tobit said, Thou art welcome, brother; be not now angry with me, because I have inquired to know thy tribe and thy family; for thou art my brother, of an honest and good stock: for I know Hananiah and Nathan, sons of that great Shemeliah, as we went together to Jerusalem to worship, and offered the firstborn, and the tenths of the fruits; and they were not seduced with the error of our brethren: my brother, thou art of a good stock.

But tell me, what wages shall I give thee? wilt thou a drachma a day, and things necessary, as to mine own son?

Hananiah, Azariah, and Mishael, by believing were saved out of the flame.

And the righteous Daniel was cast unto the lions; and Hananiah, and Azariah, and Mishael, were slung out into a furnace of fire; yet they endured through God.

And he used to tell you of the zealous Phinehas; and informed you of Hananiah and Azariah, and Mishael in the fire.
