But sympathy with her children did not turn aside the mother of the young men, who had a spirit kindred with that of Abraham.

For it were disgraceful that this old man should endure pains for the sake of righteousness, and that you who are younger should be afraid of the tortures.

The sacrifice of a just man is acceptable, And the memorial thereof shall never be forgotten.

And Daniel continued till the first year of King Cyrus.
