Let those that seek my soul, to destroy it, be ashamed and confounded together; Let those that wish me evil be turned backward and put to shame.

By this I know that thou hast delighted in me, Because mine enemy shall not rejoice over me.

For if thou desiredst sacrifice, I would have given it: Thou wilt not take pleasure in whole burnt offerings.

Rebuke the wild beasts of the reed: Let the crowd of bulls with the heifers of the nations be rebuked, So that they who have been proved with silver may not be shut out: Scatter thou the nations that wish for wars.

For what have I in heaven but thee? And what have I desired upon the earth beside thee?

They kept not the covenant of God, And would not walk in his law.

He loved cursing also, and it shall come upon him; And he took not pleasure in blessing, so it shall be removed far from him.

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
