In the thirty and eighth year of Uzziah king of Judah Zechariah the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in Samaria six months.

And the rest of the acts of Zechariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Abi, daughter of Zechariah.

And his brethren in his family, in their distribution according to their generations; the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah.

Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was keeper of the door of the tabernacle of witness.

and Gedor and his brother, and Zecher, and Mikloth.

and with them their brethren of the second rank, Zechariah, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Elioel, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Eliphelehu, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, the porters.

And Shebaniah, and Joshaphat, and Nethanel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, were sounding with trumpets before the ark of God: and Obed-edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers of the ark of God.

Asaph was the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom: and Jeiel sounding with musical instruments, lutes and harps, and Asaph with cymbals:

The brother of Micah; Isshiah, the son of Isshiah; Zechariah.

And Meshelemiah’s firstborn son was Zechariah, the second Jediael, the third Zebadiah, the fourth Jathniel,

Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all these were the sons and brethren of Hosah, thirteen.

And the lot of the east gates fell to Shelemiah, and Zechariah: the sons of Soaz cast lots for Melchias, and the lot came out northward.

And in the third year of his reign, he sent his chief men, and his mighty men, Obadiah and Zechariah, and Nethanel, and Micaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah.

And in the eighth year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri, with him into the house of the Lord.

And he sought the Lord in the days of Zechariah, who understood the fear of the Lord; and in his days he sought the Lord, and the Lord prospered him.

And Hezekiah began to reign at the age of twenty-five years, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Abijah, daughter of Zechariah.

And of the sons of Elizaphan; Shimri, and Jeuel: and of the sons of Asaph; Zechariah, and Mattaniah:

And the men were faithfully engaged in the works: and over them were superintendents, Jahath and Obadiah, Levites of the sons of Merari, and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of Kohath, appointed to oversee; and every Levite, and everyone that understood how to play on musical instruments.

And his princes gave an offering to the people, and to the priests, and to the Levites: and Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel the chief men gave to the priests of the house of God, they even gave for the Passover sheep, and lambs, and kids, two thousand six hundred, and three hundred calves.

And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.

And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez;

And their brethren that did the work of the house were eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah.

Of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;

And certain of the priests' sons with trumpets; namely, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph:

And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;

In the eighth month, in the second year of the reign of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, the prophet, saying,

On the twenty-fourth day in the eleventh month, this is the month Shebat, in the second year of the reign of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, the prophet, saying,

And it came to pass in the fourth year of Darius the king, that the word of the Lord came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, which is Chislev.

And the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, saying,

That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

THERE was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.

And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple.

And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.

And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.

And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,

Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.

From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

And Hilkiah, Zechariah, and Esyelus, the governors of the temple, gave to the priests for the Passover two thousand and six hundred sheep, and three hundred calves.

The holy singers also, the sons of Asaph, were in their order, according to the appointment of David, to wit, Asaph, Zechariah, and Jeduthun, who was of the king’s retinue.

Now in the second year of the reign of Darius, Haggai and Zechariah the son of Iddo, the prophets, prophesied unto the Jews in Jewry and Jerusalem in the name of the Lord God of Israel, which was upon them.

And so the holy works prospered, when Haggai and Zechariah the prophets prophesied.

then sent I unto Eleazar, and Iduel, and Maea, and Maasmas,

and upon his left hand Pedaiah, and Mishael, Malchijah, Lothasubus, Nabariah, Zechariah.

So he left Joseph the son of Zechariah, and Azariah, captains of the people, with the remnant of the host in Judea to keep it.

Joseph the son of Zechariah, and Azariah, captains of the garrisons, heard of the valiant acts and warlike deeds which they had done.
