And she saddled the ass, and said to her servant, Be quick, proceed: spare not on my account to ride, unless I shall tell thee. Go, and thou shalt proceed, and come to the man of God to Mount Carmel.

But I, when I waited for good things, Behold, days of evils came the more upon me.

And I allowed my wrath to come to the full, yet I kept it in, and did not utterly destroy them: I will pour it out on the children without, and on the assembly of young men together: for man and woman shall be taken together, the old man with him that is full of days.

Trust not thou in their life, Neither respect their multitude: For one that is just is better than a thousand; And better it is to die without children, than to have them that are ungodly.

Watching care will not let a man slumber, As a sore disease breaketh sleep.

Judge of thy neighbor by thyself: And be discreet in every point.

Rise up betimes, and be not the last; But get thee home without delay.

Neither consult with a woman touching her of whom she is jealous; Neither with a coward in matters of war; Nor with a merchant concerning exchange; Nor with a buyer of selling; Nor with an envious man of thankfulness; Nor with an unmerciful man touching kindness; Nor with the slothful for any work; Nor with a hireling for a year of finishing work; Nor with an idle servant of much business: Hearken not unto these in any matter of counsel.
