But if there should be in thee a man hating his neighbor, and he should lay wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him, that he die, and he should flee to one of these cities,

And the damsel has not committed a sin worthy of death; as if a man should rise up against his neighbor, and slay him, so is this thing;

Bless, Lord, his strength, And accept the works of his hands; Break the loins of his enemies that have risen up against him, And let not them that hate him rise up.
