since thy servant has found mercy before thee, and thou hast magnified thy righteousness, in what thou doest toward me that my soul may live—but I shall not be able to escape to the mountain, lest perhaps the calamity overtake me and I die.

And he said, O Lord God of my master Abraham, prosper my way before me today, and deal mercifully with my master Abraham.

Justice and judgment are the establishment of thy throne: Mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

But my truth and my mercy shall be with him; And in my name shall his horn be exalted.

I will keep my mercy for him forever, And my covenant shall be firm with him.

But my mercy I will not utterly remove from him, Nor wrong my truth.

Where are thine ancient mercies, O Lord, Which thou sworest to David in thy truth?

We have been satisfied in the morning with thy mercy; And we did exult and rejoice:

To proclaim thy mercy in the morning, And thy truth by night,
