And Cain said to Abel his brother, Let us go out into the plain; and it came to pass that when they were in the plain Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

And when the sun was about to set, there was a flame, and behold a smoking furnace and lamps of fire, which passed between these divided pieces.

And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh, king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went through all the land of Egypt.

and shall proceed to Geliloth, which is in front by the going up of Adummim; and they shall come down to the stone of Bohan of the sons of Reuben; and shall pass over behind Beth-arabah northward, and shall go down to the borders behind the sea northward.

And the border returned from Sedduc in a contrary direction eastward from Beth-shemesh, to the borders of Chisloth-tabor, and shall pass on to Daberath, and shall proceed upward to Japhia.

And thence it shall come round in the opposite direction eastward to Gath-hepher to the city of Catasem, and shall go on to Rimmon Matharaoza.

And it will return westward from Beth-dagon, and will join Zebulun and Ekgai, and Iphtahel northward, and the borders will come to Saphthae-beth-emek, and Neiel, and will go on to Chobamasomel,

And the coasts will return westward by Aznoth-tabor, and will go out thence to Jacana, and will border on Zebulun southward, and Asher will join it westward, and Jordan eastward.

Therefore thus says the Lord God of Israel, I said, Thy house and the house of thy father shall pass before me forever: but now the Lord says, That be far from me; for I will only honor them that honor me, and he that sets me at nought shall be despised.

And I will raise up to myself a faithful priest, who shall do all that is in my heart and in my soul; and I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before my Christ forever.

And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who shall be able to pass before this holy Lord God? and to whom shall the ark of the Lord go up from us?
