Strong's G1108 γνῶσις (gnosis)

Boast not, and utter not high things; Let not high-sounding words come out of your mouth, For the Lord is a God of knowledge, And God prepares his own designs.

And it came to pass in those days that the Philistines gathered themselves together with their armies to go out to fight with Israel; and Achish said to David, Know surely, that thou shalt go forth to battle with me, thou, and thy men.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, O that thou wouldest indeed bless me, and enlarge my coasts, and that thy hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest make me know that thou wilt not grieve me! And God granted him all that he asked.

Day to day utters speech, And night to night proclaims knowledge.

And they said, How does God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?

He that chastises the heathen, shall not he punish, Even he that teaches man knowledge?

Teach me kindness, and instruction, and knowledge: For I have believed thy commandments.

The knowledge of thee is too wonderful for me; It is very difficult, I cannot attain to it.

For the Lord gives wisdom; And from his presence come knowledge and understanding,

They are all evident to those that understand, And right to those that find knowledge.

Receive instruction, and not silver; And knowledge rather than tried gold.

I wisdom have dwelt with counsel and knowledge, And I have called upon understanding.

Leave folly, that ye may reign forever; And seek wisdom, And improve understanding by knowledge.

But the fool displays his own mischief.

But the works of the ungodly are far from knowledge.

He that seeks the Lord shall find knowledge with righteousness: And they that rightly seek him shall find peace.

The fear of the Lord is life to a man: And he shall lodge without fear in places where knowledge is not seen.

When an intemperate man is punished the simple becomes wiser: And a wise man understanding will receive knowledge.

On the table of thy heart, for counsel and knowledge.

That thou mayest answer words of truth to them that question thee.

God has taught me wisdom, and I know the knowledge of the holy.

For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

By pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

But they that had the charge of that wicked feast, for the old acquaintance they had with the man, taking him aside, besought him to bring flesh of his own provision, such as was lawful for him to use, and make as if he did eat of the flesh taken from the sacrifice commanded by the king;

But when he was ready to die with stripes, he groaned, and said, It is manifest unto the Lord, that hath the holy knowledge, that whereas I might have been delivered from death, I now endure sore pains in body by being beaten: but in soul am well content to suffer these things, because I fear him.

And wisdom is a knowledge of divine and human things, and of their causes.

For the Spirit of the Lord filleth the world: And that which containeth all things hath knowledge of the voice.

He professeth to have the knowledge of God: And he calleth himself the child of the Lord.

As for wisdom, what she is, and how she came up, I will tell you, And will not hide mysteries from you: But will seek her out from the beginning of her nativity, And bring the knowledge of her into light, And will not pass over the truth.

For he hath given me certain knowledge of the things that are, Namely, to know how the world was made, and the operation of the elements:

When the righteous fled from his brother’s wrath, She guided him in right paths, showed him the kingdom of God, And gave him knowledge of holy things, Made him rich in his travails, And multiplied the fruit of his labors.

Moreover this was not enough for them, that they erred in the knowledge of God; But whereas they lived in the great war of ignorance, Those so great plagues called they peace.

And exalteth them to honor that hold her fast.

The knowledge of a wise man shall abound like a flood: And his counsel is like a pure fountain of life.

The inner parts of a fool are like a broken vessel, And he will hold no knowledge as long as he liveth.

As a house that is destroyed, so is wisdom to a fool: And the knowledge of the unwise is as talk without sense.

Make the time short, remember the covenant, And let them declare thy wonderful works.

Wrath, and envy, trouble, and unquietness, fear of death, and anger, and strife, And in the time of rest upon his bed his night sleep, do change his knowledge.
