This is the book of the generation of heaven and earth, when they were made, in the day in which the Lord God made the heaven and the earth,

This is the genealogy of men in the day in which God made Adam; in the image of God he made him:

And these are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man; being perfect in his generation, Noah was well-pleasing to God.

So they all together had innumerable dead with one kind of death; Neither were the living sufficient to bury them: For in one moment the noblest offspring of them was destroyed.

For they were yet mindful of the things that were done while they sojourned in the strange land, How the ground brought forth flies instead of cattle, And how the river cast up a multitude of frogs instead of fish.
