I have learned so much from this course. Eye-opening.

This course is loaded. There were so many things I did not know about prophecies that were made! I will be keeping the pdf notes to reread and study over time.

Chuck Pike sets a high bar for himself: proving beyond reasonable doubt that Jesus is the Son of God; looking almost exclusively at the Old Testament prophecies.

Very eye-opening, especially in some of the more obscure passages not commonly cited. Definitely has kindled a desire to study more prophecy.

This was very helpful and faith building teaching. It helps us to understand what exactly it is that we as followers of the Messiah and believers in the Father are to be talking about when we are spreading the gospel of the kingdom. I pray God's richest blessings on this ministry.

I value that Chuck showed many less popular prophecies and demonstrated their fulfillment in a more honest way than many apologists today. Great evangelistic course also. Especially the end left me encouraged.

This class is phenomenal, it goes in depth into the Old Testament to prove that Jesus is The Christ. It definitely answered some questions I had but had not found the answers as I searched the scriptures like where was it written that Jesus would be in the grave for 3 days. This challenged me to be like the Bereans when studying the scriptures and like Apollos when sharing the gospel. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of The Holy Spirit be with you all.

The best course on THF that I have run across for the longest time! Overwhelming evidence that Christ really is our Messiah- and everyone else's, for that matter.

This really makes it simple yet challenging as to how to show that Jesus is the Son of God to any skeptic without using modern manipulations of the Gospel.

I truly loved this course. It was very enlightening. I never made the connections of Joseph and Moses. I have long questioned what the Pharisees meant when they asked John the Baptist if he was "the Prophet". This course answered that and so much more. Thank you brother Pike.

I had previously listened to these five messages by dear brother Chuck Pike multiple times on Youtube.com, and several years ago I even set up a "Brother Chuck Pike" playlist for my Youtube account. But it was really great to listen to all five of these messages again and some points that I did not catch in earlier years really registered with me this time. So I am deeply thankful that the team at thehistoricfaith.com has decided to include courses containing lessons by dear brother Chuck Pike.

The way this topic is introduced and approached in these five lessons is excellent. Brother Pike challenges his audience in the very first lesson to consider how they would go about convincing someone that Jesus is the Son of God when that person lives in a country where the persecution of Christians is a very real and common occurrence. We have to admit that a lot of the gimmicks we use in Westernized modern "Christian" nations do not work for people in the many countries where being a Christian is very costly and could cost someone their very life. For these people, a truly extraordinary presentation of the gospel message of Jesus Christ is required, but it turns out that this truly extraordinary presentation is exactly the way the apostles and the early Christians presented the gospel! It is so necessary and so refreshing to look away from our modern techniques and go back to the beginning with the apostles.

After the first introductory lesson, the other four lessons are very dense with detail, but they have to be, because a detailed presentation of Jesus Christ as He was prophesied and prefigured throughout the Old Testament is required. Since this is the case, these lessons will continue to reward those who return to them multiple times. Prepare to be amazed at how many places Jesus Christ is prophesied or prefigured throughout the Old Testament Scriptures. And prepare to be amazed at how detailed and rich these prophecies and foreshadowings of Jesus Christ are.

A major positive aspect to this course is that fact that the attached outlines are extremely thorough and detailed. Each message is linked to a very helpful outline that contains all of the points spoken in the message. And this is the very same set of outlines that are available to be downloaded from links to the message on Youtube.com. Many thanks to dear brother Pike for the time he spent putting these outlines together. As an added bonus, attached to the second message in this series is a really excellent article written by dear brother Finny Kuruvilla covering the prophecy of the 62 "weeks" and the 7 "weeks" recorded in Daniel 9:25.

As one who fellowships with a congregation linked to the Restoration Movement, it was comforting to hear an audience that was so receptive and responsive to the messages. While I am used to many "Amens" and "That's right!" during Bible studies and sermons, the brothers and sisters listening to brother Pike had an enthusiasm that makes our congregation seem extremely tame! My favorite example - In message one brother Pike stated that he was going to set the bar pretty high in these messages, and one brother responds, "C'mon, set it brother! C'mon now!" After brother Pike sets a very high standard, the same brother exclaims, "Love it!" Some dear brothers and sisters here at thehistoricfaith.com may not be used to this, and I know we all have our own backgrounds and comfort levels, but I found the enthusiasm of the audience to be very refreshing and invigorating.

Lastly, as another added bonus, this set of messages includes the story regarding how brother Kuruvilla's father George came to be a believer in Christ (and a preacher of the gospel) in India. And dear brother George's testimony ties in directly to the main topic of all these messages.

As a vehicle to cause us to reexamine how we present the gospel to people, and as a very rich and in-depth study of many Messianic prophecies and foreshadowings in the Old Testament, this course is highly, highly, recommended. I rated this course five start out of a possible five.
