So the first verse of this song says, "O love divine, what hast thou done? The incarnate God hath died for me. The Father's co-eternal Son bore all my sins upon the tree. The Son of God for me hath died. My Lord, my love, is crucified."
You know, we hear a lot of Christian terminology so much sometimes that it just sort of, I don't know, it just sort of passes us over. But this morning I want to have each of us think about that. The Son of God died for us. How should that make us feel? I think unworthy is probably one of the better descriptions of that.
So let's listen closely to the words of these songs. Just a very powerful message and it's a beautiful song. Okay, number 416.
I'll remember we're doing the guys' lead. Second verse. Soprano is going to be singing high tenor.
O love divine, what hast thou done? Linharden thou hast died for me. The Father's co-eternal Son. Bore all my sins upon the tree. The Son of God for me hath died. My Lord, my love, is crucified.
Is crucified for me and you. To bring us rebels back to God. Believe, believe the record true. Heal our bond with Jesus' blood. Pardon for all those from his side. My Lord, my love, is crucified.
Behold him, all ye that hast by. Lovely embrace of life and peace. Consider seeing your Savior die. And say what's ever grief like his. Come fill with me his blood of life. My Lord, my love, is crucified.
Then let us sit beneath this cross. And gladly catch the healing stream. All things for him account but loss. And give up all our hearts to him. Of nothing think or speak beside. My Lord, my love, is crucified.
Thousand hearts and voices sound the notes of praise above. Jesus reigns and heaven rejoices. Jesus reigns, the God of love. CC sits on yonder throne. Jesus rules the world alone. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, amen.
King of glory, reign forever. Thine an everlasting crown. Nothing from thy love shall sever. Those whom thou hast made thy own. Happy, happy objects of thy grace. Destined to behold thy face. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, amen.
Savior haston thine appearing. Bring, O bring, the glorious day. When the awful summons hearing. Hemnedus shall pass away. Then with golden hearts we'll sing. Glory, glory, glory to our King. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, amen.
Okay, we'll sing the song "A Mighty Fortress." It's number 488. And the rest of y'all feel free to join in that I don't know if it's in those books or not. It is in here. 13, you say? Number 13 in the hymns of worship. 488 in the...
Okay, can request that it sing that it sungs spiritedly. So, all right.
O mighty fortresses, our God of all work never failing. Our helper be amid the flood of mortal hills prevailing.
For still our Asian foe does seek to work us woe. Is crafted power our great. And armed with cruel hate. On earth is not his equal.
Did we at our own strength comfort? Our striving would be losing. We're not the right men on our side. The men of God don't choose.
Does ask who had may be. Christ Jesus saved his king. Lord, Sarah of his name. From age to age the same. And he must win the battle.
And though this world with devils filled should craft and to undo us. We will not fear for God hath built his truth to triumph through us. The prince of darkness grim. We tremble not for him. His rage we can endure.
For though his doom is sure. One little word shall fell him.
That word on the whole earth leave hearts. No thanks to them abideth. The spirit and the gifts are ours through him who with us sideth. Let good and kindred go. This mortal life also so. The body they may kill.
God's truth abideth still. His kingdom is forever.
Number 613.

More faith hast found a resting place. Not in device nor greed. I trust the ever-living one. His words for me shall plead. I need no other argument. I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died and that he died for me.
Enough for me that Jesus saves this. Ends my fear and doubt. A simple soul I come to him. He'll never cast me out. I need no other argument. I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died and that he died for me.
My heart is leaning on the word. The written word of God. Salvation by my Savior's name. Salvation through his blood. I need no other argument. I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died and that he died for me.
My great physician heals the sick. The lost he came to save. For me his precious blood he shed. For me his life he gave. I need no other argument. I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died and that he died for me.
Amen.
Now we'll be in the perfect piece, number 613. This song has a special chance. I'd like to have six or seven. Let's do 413. One, two, three, four, five.
613, now we'll be in the perfect piece.
How will keep him in perfect peace? How will keep him in perfect peace? How will keep him in perfect peace? Whose mind is stay on me?
Marvel not that I say unto you.
Marvel not that I say unto you.
Marvel not that I say unto you.
He must be born again.
Though your sins as scarlet be. Though your sins as scarlet be. Though your sins as scarlet be. They shall be white as snow.
If the sun shall make you free. If the sun shall make you free.
If the sun shall make you free. He shall be free indeed.
May that wait upon the Lord.
May that wait upon the Lord.
May that wait upon the Lord. They shall renew their strength.
Let's see number 507. 507, all right, everybody.
O my own Lord, I have heard thy voice. And it told thy love to me. That I long to rise in the arms of faith. And be closer drawn to thee. Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord. To the cross where thou hast died. Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord. To thy precious bleeding side.
It was like the ghost in verse two. He died just now. Kill the ghost. Consecrate me now to thy service, Lord. By thy power of grace divine. Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope. And I will be lost in thine.
Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord. To the cross where thou hast died. Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord. To thy precious bleeding side. O the pure delight of a single hour. That before thy throne I spend. When I kneel in prayer and with thee I go. I commune as friend with friend.
Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord. To the cross where thou hast died. Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord. To thy precious bleeding side. There are depths of love that I cannot know. Till I cross the narrow sea.
There are heights of joy that I may not reach. Till I rest in peace with thee. Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord. To the cross where thou hast died. Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord. To thy precious bleeding side.
How about, um, would you say, "The Lord, my right hand's headache"? 531, "The Lord, my right hand's headache."
That may be rated harder than others. All right, everybody.
531, please. The Lord is my light. Is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength. Is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? But who shall encamp? But who shall encamp against me? My heart shall not fear.
The war should rise. The war should rise against me. In this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord.
That I will seek after. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord, Lord. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord. All the days of my life. All the days of my life. All the days. All the days of my life.
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord. All the days of my life. All the days of my life. All the days. All the days of my life.
986.
I think this is familiar to everybody because we're still in the audience helpful this morning.
Sing the one dress of Jesus. Sing his mercy and his grace. In the mansions bright and blessed. He'll prepare us a place when we all, when we all get to heaven. What a day, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all, when we all see Jesus.
We'll sing and shout a victory, shout the victory.
While we walk the pilgrim pathway. Clouds will overspread the sky. But when troweling days are over. Not a shadow. Not a sign. When we all, when we all get to heaven. What a day, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all, when we all see Jesus.
We'll sing and shout a victory, shout the victory.
Let us then be true and faithful. Trusting, serving every day. Just one glimpse of him in glory. Will the toil of life repay when we all, when we all get to heaven. What a day, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all, when we all see Jesus. We'll sing and shout a victory, shout the victory.
Let's pick up the pace a little bit, a little bit longer. Onwards to the rise before us. Soon his beauty will be old. Soon the pearly gates will open. We shall tread till the streets of gold. When we all, when we all get to heaven. What a day, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all, when we all see Jesus. We'll sing and shout a victory, shout the victory.
I think, I think we'll sing maybe one or two more.
Uh, Lord, the Lord is my shepherd. Lord, my. 169.
169.
Another guest here in the song.
Uh, I think, I think every verse is the investigation of God's will. Um, same six where some males weren't joining and weren't responding. That's not it. Number 169. God, Lord's my shepherd. I'll not want. He may see down to high.
In pastures green, he leadeth me. The quiet wonders find. My soul he does restore again. And me to walk the faith. Within the paths of righteousness. Before his own name's sake. Yet though I walk through dust or fail.
Yet will I fear no ill. For thou art with me and I rot. And staff me comfort still. My table thou hast furnished. In presence of my host. My hand thou does. With all I anoint. And might of overflows.
Goodness and mercy. All my life. Shall surely follow me. And in God's house forevermore. My dwelling place shall be.
Number 983.
Testing. I just want each of you to know that it was an amazing blessing to be able to direct y'all this weekend. I've just been very, very encouraged. Just the vitality and the vigor. And the, just the commitment that I could just feel out of you guys. And I just want to bless each of you. Follow God. Follow his leading. Be attentive to his voice.
God bless each of you. Okay, number 983.
The storm will be on journey on the river. There is a city of your delight. Where many loved ones are congregating. In robes of victory of yourest white.
Just over yonder there'll be no heartache. No lonely days of pair will ever come. There'll be no crying. There'll be no dying. Oh, what rejoicing when we get home. There's nothing here, friend, but disappointment. So often here we are left alone. But over yonder hearts will grow fonder.
And separation will never come. Just over yonder there'll be no heartache. No lonely days of pair will ever come. There'll be no crying. There'll be no dying. Oh, what rejoicing when we get home. Just over yonder I'll soon be going.
To see my Savior upon his throne. And hear a welcome ring out through heaven. Oh, weary pilgrim, this is your home.
Just over yonder there'll be no heartache. No lonely days of pair will ever come. There'll be no crying. There'll be no dying. Oh, what rejoicing when we get home.
Amen.
