Lyrics:
Shim’ah Elohim rinnati. (Hear my cry, O God)
Miketze ha’aretz [eleicha] ekra. (From the end of the
earth, unto You I call)
Shim’ah Elohim, hakshiva tefillati. (Hear, O God,
attend to my plea)
Ba’atof libbi, (When my heart’s overwhelmed)
Eleicha ekra! (Unto You I will call)
Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I.
For You are
Machseh li, (my shelter)
El Roi. (God who sees)
Hide me in the shadow of Your wings.
And I will rest in the safety of Your presence, O Lord;
I will dwell in Your house forever.
Ba’atof libbi, (When my heart is overwhelmed)
Atah machseh li! (You are my refuge)
