I Sacrificed Children as a Witch Doctor. Now I Serve Jesus. - Mambadu

888 views • Jul 2, 2026

Description

Mambadu was a witch doctor and animist priest in Sierra Leone for 11 years and was overseer of 13 villages and their priests for six of those years. When Mambadu lived in darkness, he was involved in sacrificing children, calling down curses, and using dark powers to control the natural elements.

Mambadu tells how the Gospel arrived in his village for the first time and how the power of Christ transformed his life. Mambadu has now committed his life to reaching his own people with the Gospel.

Lessons

Even my own father, who was leading the delegation to kill me, my father has given his life to Christ. We have baptized him. Even when I was coming for this trip, my father has to lay his hands on me and pray for me. My father is now also a Christian. So amkwetee bado maana masala deraiba Mungu mpate a mwende. I have come to the realization that Christ, absolutely, there is nothing he cannot do.

Over the last two and a half years, I've had the privilege of interacting with a number of missionaries and new believers across West Africa. In this episode, I interview Mamadou, who's a former witch doctor and now a missionary and a pastor. Mamadou doesn't speak English, so we had to do this interview through a translator who's also a missionary in Sierra Leone.

Some of the things that Mamadou shares in this episode may be hard to believe just because it's so different from our own lived experience, but I want to confirm that what he shared has been verified by various other ministries.

Mamadou shares some pretty dark material in this episode, including descriptions of animistic witchcraft and rituals, so please use discretion while listening and while letting others listen. Here's the conversation with Mamadou. So Mamadou, where are you from? Andongae Kasalung. I am from Sierra Leone.

And were you a Christian, or what did you believe before you became a Christian? Angkandi Ukristo. I was not a Christian at all. I was not a believer. And Sierra Leone is in West Africa, yes? Yes. Do you want to show that's where we are on the app?

Yeah, so Sierra Leone is in West Africa, and so we are right here. So we are bordering with Liberia and Guinea Conakry. So we have two neighboring countries, Liberia and Guinea Conakry. Yeah. Mamo, tell me a little about Sierra Leone. Are there a lot of Christians in Sierra Leone? No.

Sierra Leone, originally, it was known to be a Christian nation by the founding fathers, but with the course of time, especially when we have the 11 years' most brutal civil war as it was termed in human history, so during that process, we have a lot of peacekeeping forces that we have sent into Sierra Leone during the war by the United Nations from the Arab world, from Pakistan, from many of the Arab nations. And during that process, many people who were Christians were also Islamized, so they became Muslims. Many Christians thought that the Christian nations across the world were silent. They didn't show any care towards the 11 years' civil war. So many people became Muslims.

And so during that war, after the war, presently now we have about 75% Muslims in the total population of Sierra Leone, in which you have like 10% Christians, and then you have maybe the rest also 15% are just animists and so forth. Yeah. Animists that would worship nature?

They worship idols, stone trees, and those who are involved in a lot of other evil practices. Yeah. So Mamadou, before you were a Christian, what did you believe? Were you Muslim, animist? Machoyamena ndiye ambaye yuko hata Kpopo, yuko Tasebe, Ngase, Batu Tema, na huko una Matulu.

Before I became a Christian, I was part of the Secret Society. I was doing all kinds of evil to protect myself. That was all I believed. Yeah. What is the Secret Society? Makahi, maneba piringa, au wawitu ngali, baadhi nchi huchukua bahari unasiba tena mah, una machoyama. So biadhubabu chenye daki, so una beubinyo, na yagali baga roporwe. So the Secret Society is called Secret Society because the practice they are doing is evil and it must be kept secret.

That's why it is called secret. Nobody is allowed to talk it out. And those evil practices they do there is to kill human beings, and you are trained also how to drink human blood, and you are trained how to also use some mystical power that makes you disappear and appear.

So you can do a lot of other evil things. So not everybody will reach to the level where he was. So it's by level. So that's why it is called secret. Things there, you take out. You don't say it outside. That's why it's called secret. And so witchcraft?

Na beba huyahuya. Yes. Yes. Yeah. So witchcraft. And you said levels in the Secret Society. What level? I don't know if I'm saying the question right, but what level in the Secret Society were you? Well, King Kamakwe alionidai baya ha, alionidai apuchi tu mleti mkoo hii Ebatachi Kamakwe Manso wote waende hawa watintikia. Na ndume na pia anaiga pei, well, la sio kenda na. So in the Secret Society, there are levels. There is the initiation stage, those who just come to become members; and there is also a stage in the Secret Society where you will go by level. For him, the level he has already attained is the highest level. He was covering like 10 villages.

Kwao Ebatachi? 13 villages. He was the— 13, you said? Yeah, 13 villages. He was the leader, and whatever he says is final. If you refuse his order, he can pass an order for you to be killed. So there were other people in the Secret Society under you that you were in charge of? Because Metsiba Kimba amenidonyo, Ndoyeti Bia Bitachi, Metsiba Kimba amenidoyeti Bia Binang, so Kahuma na Manenda amenidondenda kubeenda ngani kwa heka chachi eunte.

So in the villages, in these villages, there are those who are just members. But in each village, we will have like three key leaders who are representing him into those villages. So in 13 villages, they have this—the number was the key leaders that he was leading is over like 33 people he was leading. But each village can have like over 200 members or 300 members, depending on the membership of that village. Oh, okay. So these 33 people that you were leading or in charge of, were they priests, a chief? What was their position in the village? Utankena. So Mkie Bia Bia Kudungu Kobena, Mkie Bia Bia ni hupenki chaan, Mkie Bia Bia ni komando, la sio nda.

So among these people we have, there are various responsibilities. I have those that I was given instruction who will map up those children that need to be sacrificed, and we have those who will take hold of those children that need to be sacrificed, and I have those who will do the killing of those children when the time reached for the final sacrifice to be done. And I can give that command, and they know when to do the sacrifice.

Wow. Why was the Secret Society sacrificing children? That's part of the religion, or why would they do that? Akorim pati, temu jikini, bana ngpungwe, wote handa tungu bako mkea. Utimua mbao kumbukia, una ngpungwe. So sembe banyo, wote handa tungu bako mkea. Okay, we sacrifice children for several reasons.

First of all, we sacrifice children for authority because in the kingdom of darkness, you need to pour blood. Pour blood, like to kill. You have to shed blood. So for you to be elevated in the Secret Society or in the demonic world, so you have to kill so that whatever you say is final. So you have to do that killing. They also kill children because sometimes the priest of the village, the switchseer who represents between the people and the gods, can tell them that they should kill this number of children for good harvest, good harvest better. So you can also kill children for good harvest for the villagers to have good harvest that year in their farms.

So it depends on what the priest says that was the instruction they will kill the children for. Yeah. This is very dark, very evil. Yeah. How long were you in charge of those 13 villages? Akidega tano au moja, na niliegata niende so hede, na twenda na niende so hunti before tampendala masala tano chenye hapa na koo hii hunti. So to go through the training process, because it's layers, I was trained for five years in the demonic world. I spent five years in the demonic world being trained, and after my training, I led—Tumba Tanine? That's what I want to ask. I led for six years before I was converted. So I led those 13 villages for six years.

So 11 years in the Secret Society. So tena koo hii eunte. Yeah. Yeah, 11 years. Yeah. It's hard to even know what to say. Wow. That's very dark. Yeah. You mentioned other forms of witchcraft. So you had sacrificing children, but also appearing and disappearing. Do you want to say more on some of the things they would do? Well, na wote kutisembeni kega banga kupigwa, ndugu mna kaka. Mkombani ubomadi, kene kiuto, manini kule deba, kutasembe bako. So ndugu anepenki mama, manene mama utimui baka hiyo, manene tambi na otoyo, na ndugu ndiye ni mpenke.

Yeah, this is really deep. For you to be able to appear and disappear, and for you to translate yourself or change into different animals, they will take you into a very deep thick forest. That is where they will leave you. You have to go there alone. They will direct you to the forest.

And when you go to that forest, you will meet animals, different kinds of animals. And these animals you will meet, you will choose which animal you want to fight with. And then these animals, you will fight with this animal, whether it's a lion or it's a tiger or whatever animal. You will battle, and if you conquer that animal, it means you'll be able to appear and disappear into that animal or change at any time. But if the animal defeats you, it means you have to choose another animal, meaning you cannot be able to control that power in the dark world. So that was how the process goes. Did you do this process? Yes. Yes, I went through the process.

Because ndugu mkuno mchiga ikega banga kupigwa, ndugu mkuno husebe. Yes, I went through the process because the first thing you will have to do before you go, there's a priest that will make a kind of ceremony and a talisman that you will hang on your neck.

And that talisman is the first initiation process, and then that talisman will be on you, and then that will take you to the forest. And then after that process, you go through it, then you will always have that talisman, and you can do what. But when I came to Christ, that was the first talisman or tie that I destroy because it is the controller of the power. Wow. Yeah. Oh.

Again, it's, Mamo, it's hard for me to even know what to say. This is so different from my own experience. You can translate that if you—I'm kind of speechless, actually. Yeah. Yeah, I know it's a kind of very difficult thing for you to understand, but I know exactly what Mamado is explaining because we have a lot of malams. They are called malams. And these malams, they make a kind of talisman, concoction.

They do a lot of evil things into it, and they have to shode it with thread and what they have said is inside of that. Okay, it's like weaving darkness into the what's around your neck. Yeah. So you see sometimes people are wearing amulets, or you see them with hangings, or you see them right on their waist.

So these are all—sometimes you see people with colored rings, not just one, with a thread with different colors. So these are all from the demonic world, or sometimes they're wearing clothes that are having stripes. You have black and red, white, black, red. Those are all demonic signs. If you walk around Africa or Sierra Leone and you see people wearing that, it is connected with the demonic world.

Yeah. I mean, 11 years in that, what were those 11 years like for you?

Let me try to find a better way to even say that. Yeah, what was your life like? How did it feel, those 11 years? Well, katemu bena, anudichutima, na huyo huyu biko mayugumena, ma. Kawaida baga hutandaa hapa. Kwa unachenda nka marigo, na mbiane ndugu andoko tena kuchekea anachenda nka marigo. To be honest with you, when you are part of that society or part of that evil practices, with that level I attained, you always feel high. You feel very special because you are horned out. You're very powerful. So you don't see it as evil. I only realized it was evil when I gave my life to Christ. So that was how I began to see how horrible I was living.

But before I gave my life to Christ, I was like I was the most powerful man. So I was feeling okay about everything, killing of children and so forth. It was okay. Until I gave my life, then I look back and I know, oh, I was in darkness.

Yeah. Was that because you thought it was right to do the sacrifices, the child sacrifice? Antipina, manene kingende. Ndugu kucho gonohombe byo huyo bena ni. Ndugu kucho gonobeba huyo beni. To be honest with you, if you are part of the demonic evil world, killing a child or sacrificing children or drinking blood, you don't see it as evil. You think it is something good. You don't know. You are not with a sense to know it is wrong. No. You don't have the sense to say it's wrong. So Satan has twisted what is evil and tried to make it look like it's right. Yeah. So unyoenda, Setani, the sigina they would tanda, bhabia onde tama huyo huyo.

Yeah. Yeah, see that's easy. Yeah. So obviously, you are not part of this Secret Society anymore. Christ has changed your life. Kokotenda, maum anda igana ibide macho ya mama. Marigo, ndugu ndana, the mtenzi bake ende. Yeah. Angkala nga masala na. I want to praise God, I'm no longer part of them.

Erebato abang, kanga hii mingi kagedekayo hapa. But to be honest with you, when I look back, what we did is really horrible, and that darkness is really thick. Maangozi moko tiba pati, betuge. Sontembe tena ndilo mbana ya kwanga salum au mbana ya kwanga nchaya bosi wa matenso.

Sometimes when I look back, the number of children we have killed, it breaks my heart because those children could have become great leaders, maybe for my country Sierra Leone, or maybe for Africa or the world. Taratimutimatia nivyo ramine, adutento masala peni ya maba, ndugu huyo na marigo ndume, wewe utimbue hale mbake enema ili kuchesi bako dongo. Sometimes I used to feel very sad, but I'm encouraged again through the Scriptures. When the Scriptures says, "If anyone believes and you confesses your sins, Jesus Christ will forgive you." And so I confess my sins to the Lord, and I ask Him for forgiveness because I did those things ignorantly.

Unatipindia njoo na na. Kehii kuyingwe isiba ngono. Kamoguma kabipadi bekenda laimbenda, totingina babede maniye kuramne. Because benibani ya mba mbengayo masala bima kucheni kini kiniendema pene. That's why I told Joe, at one time he was visiting Sierra Leone, I said, "Please, wherever you go, tell my story and ask your people to pray for me, for God to forgive me, because the number of children I killed and the number of lives I destroyed and what I did in the demonic world in those 11 years is just horrible and very much uncountable. And I'm asking the brethren all over to pray for God to forgive me." Yaani, alokotera hesemedi nivyo ramne, buko hamna habia masala buyu imba masegeta imago kati chane.

I know that truly I am forgiven. It's because I have been forgiven by Christ. That's why He has given me the honor and opportunity to share His word to others who are still in darkness as I was. And that's why even I'm here, I'm convinced that I'm sitting in this conversation because I believe I've been fully forgiven by Christ.

So how did you hear about Jesus for the first time? Nama yuendei bamarigo, ukolo holo mbaya bamarigo. Well, ndugu kalanga masala na kamuguma gaanki guramne guholo, asapi chobani ya guramne, baba ya hawakiampa solana kamara na ndugu ndega bora ebata mtenda la masala ta. Well, first of all, wherever I go, I will never forget thanking God for Pastor Lansana Kamara, who we are the first pastors or missionaries sent in our area to preach the Gospel.

Because na ndibide kandi itampendawa masala tama mbede biandi kamechiba kenchu, ndogo babeni unka isimba binde mbede mio itoro. The first time they went to our community to preach the Gospel, seriously, to be honest, they were attacked in the demonic way, and we suffered them a lot. We really suffered them a lot. But we still sat and listened to them when they were talking, but we were doing many things to suffer them.

Na langpa mteo nchona maung mingi bakee endeni ngara ekosembe baga masala bana tulinebide egu ramne. I was part of that demonic world to attack those pastors who went. We sent a snake against one of the pastors, and the snake bit him and wanted to kill him, but through the grace of God, we saw that he didn't die, but it was we sent a snake to bite him. So narande chugu, deni masimaki ambigi mbadeta na atitoea asembe baga masala baya mechemba asembe baya amba. The snake we released to bite that pastor, it was the most powerful demonic power we have used. So when that snake bite that pastor and he didn't die, I began to wonder within myself that these people have a greater power that is more powerful than the power I have in the dark world.

And so that was how it started within me. Why this snake? Why the power we have could not kill this pastor? So that was how the conviction started. So bideke, bidekinge, kabore, bidekichuchen hele ndogo na micheng. Na mimi nisapa hiyo. Na marigo ndume, nalia chuge na mimba hunde. Na midokotena mido hele nkuchusi. So na mido hele ncheng. Den indeed bideken hele. So they were not based in my village. These pastors, they were based in another village. So but they told them that even though the snake has bitten one of the pastors, they promised that they will come back to tell them the word of God. And they said that even if we die in this village, we will have another life.

So we are not afraid to die here because when we die, we have another life to live. So he had them say that, and they bidetende hele, and they came again. So kalogo babena nachenda binde hue, ankbee ama asenda bide, nikurisib. Kere huu after hele nkende, unkaegedi bayang because ayer wewe ndabinde, ah usiseme makubrengeni mamandi. So when they came indeed for the second time, I now knew within me, throughout the life, I was battling within me that indeed these people carry higher power, and I wanted to know what power they carry. So when they came for the second time, I received them myself and lodged them.

Okay. Yes, I lodged them. But when I lodged them, also I was also attacked for lodging them. You were attacked by the other. Yeah, by the other secret society forces. Yeah. So beginning atemu bena hele, unkaegedi baya. So since then, there was a great battle now between me and the kingdom of darkness. Kerekata kweng kwenda bena tadunkua nsiba kiaambide kunguchandima na hii rige marigo nusu ambigi ndaba imamarigo matanani ma holo bidetana nima kabugo udumo na John tanga hata chache sore nko hii visoonte tena ni asapi chohano ala seitima. So when they were staying with me, I have a great opposition. Why should I lodge these pastors in my house when I'm their leader? But they didn't know the battle I have throughout within myself since they came to preach the Gospel.

So I started now believing in these men and what they are saying. So when they were now staying with me, they witnessed to me personally, and I will never forget for the first time they shared John 3:16 to me. And I will never forget those Bible verse till I go to the grave because I can't read and write, but I can still remember they quoted that Bible verse this is to me and they explained the Gospel to me. Na ndo maana masala timu wafao haa dedungu mina hacho ukeenda maadewute na pia, woyo huo unyeni la niadesha chugu korodegon kuchusiba kodongo. So they explained to me John 3:16 that God so loved this world, He has given His one and only begotten Son, and anyone that will believe in this Son will not die, He will have an everlasting life.

Katemu bena nakenda binde, andundaba chicho tuma biko mbenda majini kama choya ama bamu dume ambichongoko daante. So bidedume na bima kori because bi aking helen debii sembe dangande makoro an simogo etong matanani ma nywe ama andume namona mamana aduchuu hesa alokote andokuchusiba kodongo. So after they led me to Christ, they were not staying in the village. They left to go back to their mission base. The trouble was now those people who saw me giving my life to them, hosting them, they also came against me and they wanted to kill me. In the spirit realm, they were pursuing me because there were others also who were higher in authority than me, who were also were against those powers.

And they were now also against me. Why did I give my life? And it was not really easy for me. But what gave me courage is the power that I saw in these men. And they said they will have another life even if they die. So then I also now believe that myself, now that I have followed their God, if they also kill me, I will have another life. So then I was confident in their statement that they will have another life. So me too, I said, okay, if this group is going to kill me, I will have another life. So nitari holo husebe huundiye yangu koya nchoko hang, ba kukahegung echanga dundu, den hubitira huambie hang, deni asigitimu.

What I did was, after I gave my life to Christ, I took there's a special bottle full of concoctions and evil that you will always wash and rub like cream. So I took that bottle at night and I went and break it and destroy it. And the evil talisman I was hanging that goes across me that will empower me to do all kind of evil and appear and disappear. Ah, that's what you mentioned earlier. Yes, so I removed it and also I destroyed it. And the reason why I destroyed it, that was why again they were after me because you don't have to destroy it. It is transferable authority. Oh, so now I was the leader.

Give it to someone else. Yeah, they should after me, after his death, it should be transferred. So that's why when you are leading, sometimes when you die, you are not buried with your head. They cut your head. Hmm. Yeah, they cut your head.

So then they needed that power from him so that it can be transferred to the next person. If they would have taken hold of him, they should kill him, cut his head, plus the power, and transfer it to another person. But then he has thrown it. He has destroyed it. So that's why they were pursuing him.

Because husebe hubena di hunywali epinkara baga huwe na ndume na hii. Ihuchogo o maniere mo ukia. So that talisman is like it's loaded with a lot of evil demonic power that is difficult to explain in the physical. But it has the authority to destroy human life. Even if I don't meet you physically, I can speak to that thing. And whatever evil I want to befall that person, it will befall that person. And if the person also have their own demonic power and my power at that point in time cannot penetrate to them, I will speak to the Son.

I will speak to the talisman and command the power to rest in the Son. And when the person comes out in the morning, as long as the Son comes out, the person saw the Son, evil will strike that person immediately and he will die.

Because temu kiwunde di nkitige, so katemu bena nadekoteta anigure dibawende. So muna timojuma chenunde huu na kaampengeni sembe banking kakao ogo na kaantoendo. Yeah, because other people also have their own demonic power. So they always prepare themselves in their spiritual realm. So like protection. Yeah, like protection. But if I give this my own power, I give command in the Son for the evil to be roaming in the ear. Anytime the person comes out, maybe they did not prepare themselves to attack, to defend themselves against another evil force, my own evil power will strike them.

So calling a curse on someone that you want to hurt for some reason. Yeah. A curse. Yeah. But nyawo bata antam because by badeni denabang idawo ntimao. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But when you hear the Gospel, you leave that and become a Christian. How did you leave the secret society? I mean. So now. Na nirena utambataka marigo huta. Idugunogo inda.

Ang kalanga masala na ba kwepe hubena hotantongo ndema. I want to thank you for that great question. Niiga kega salumu o minkaa dongo imingpungia ishako tona chenye yanga marigo. Until you visit Seraleon or you hear from me, it's very hard to explain to anyone how I gave my life to Christ. Ninachepea na nachemba ya haya mbikia mkande nigu hisi because mungu imumu naingehenchaambi kina baele bidedume na hana mbihesi ampee ntulimbike nami. Like I told you, when these pastors came to share the Gospel in my village and I gave my life, the first step was to throw away those powers that connect me and them. And they pronounce a curse that as long as I've thrown those things, I will not live long, I will die.

I'm going to die. They put a curse on you. Yeah, they put a curse on him. So temu hante bidehuoma yagaliba karobogo ebang bidedongo imiching den bidebichi temu chikimbichen na dungeto mina bidetemba masetontina mwone toya ampee ndabinde ando minae toya ampee ndabinde. So they have done that curse they pronounce on me, but fortunately they saw that nothing has happened to me with the number of time they gave. So they now came literally like we are seated on this table to ask me in person, are you really sure you have really left us and you are no longer part of what we are doing? They came literally in person. So nadume anaendu ampee mbide still bidega hele nkuchagoyo hoe bidege hele dongo michi so that nabibima kati hele nkende ambige ndege punge hola asihaandome na yangu.

So when they came and they asked me that question, it was like I told them, yes, I am no longer part of you. And they could not believe it. They say, okay, we want you to do one thing for us. Let's go back to the secret society bush and we will have all the leaders of the society. You go and denounce us, this society, in the bush. But he knew that was a big trap. They could kill him there. So he told them and said, well, for now, me, I have given my life to Christ and I am with Christ. You are still part of your secret society. You go and discuss what you want to discuss in your bush.

Me, I am in my town. I am with my Jesus. I can't go in the bush anymore. So ang kalanga masala na ang kote bado matema na nabigyan bako tuna marigu, marigi na utoya. When I made that pronouncement, it was again another moment. I began to grow in Christ. I began to realize that the name of Jesus is powerful indeed. Na kenda hata nintaega wale baa stili timojuma chibide dongo bago dama nkuhumbinu nkogode hunina hobena unkaegedi baa bidehuma ibidechenga baimpachibikia mbaya ang kalangang batakubaga tambi kosi ni gani no yaliyotampa baya hawakia mbango ninda puti puti mbango kaya usa neno nigu hisi mbaya.

In the joining of two years, they were constantly after my life in many forms and in many shapes to attack me, to attack my family, my children. They wanted to kill us. In fact, the worst was at one point in time, had they not been the grace of God when they came to attack us who were in the forest, had they not been for the motorcycles where some pastors rode in the bush and they went to shut for me under the rain, we could have lost my life with my family because we were in the bush.

Because nabidedume baa yuga mayugu maanga kasigri chonga bidekie ntau bidehang ibi mina ndegende bidekie ntau bidehang huu alena maili nkoo hekontokae uyuye chebide homa beti mkande. I knew I was part of them and I will have served as their leader. So there is a demonic sound. There is something they will hit in the bush.

And that sound, it would travel more than 20 miles. That sound goes more than 20 miles. When they hit that thing, it sound goes more than 20 miles. And it is really for hard revenge. So I know when they started hitting that sound, they will hit it for some days. And when they started hitting that sound, I knew I was their leader. I'm hearing that sound. So I started communicating with, uh they started communicating with me and other leaders that I'm in danger. There's a big attack that is coming because I can interpret the sound from the bush of the secret society people. So na tungande bidehuma bidekega ulaga miniye remo ukia banana mpati beni penye methiba remo ukia nchuchi edunguna mpati binanto kati ya tahine katanke methibanka so that pungaba bena na mi hunima key because mko tenda na puti puti mbehesi binetemba mnasiya.

So the only way God gave us an escape while they were in the bush, hitting those sounds, and they were having people to surveillance my movement and my family, God gave us wisdom. My wife just prepared food and put those food on top of my children's head as if they are taking it to someone. But the children, they all know that they will keep going. Nobody's coming back. So but they will just see them like they are taking food somewhere in the farm or but it was our way of escape. That was the wisdom God gave us. So we prepared that food and the children had it on their head and they were living as if they were going.

So nina punke yangu baa humi kametema beina. So after that, my wife also followed the other way and the children, we have agreed we are to meet and that was how God gave me a narrow escape to go to the forest. And handa nchiusisi minaa ka banka batante bang coming tungkrande humaga district tu. And so that was how later, uh we sent a rescue team of where they were. Thank God there was a network in that bush and they were rescued there and we have, uh in Kabala in the north, we have what we call a rescue home. So we have a home like where we bring together those who are persecuted or who they are chasing to come and stay for some time.

So they were in that home with his family for some time. And mayugu mabena mengapa koto huu hachini na o ibi handani mkindi ka mayugu mambe ba makorabe. So the dangerous thing with the secret society and that evil, when you are part of it, you have no sense of who is your son, who is your father, who is your brother. In that sense, you don't have, I can surprise you that my father was also part of this group that we are trying to push you to kill me. My father was also part. But when you are part of the society, the devil takes your feeling of irrelative from you.

His father. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Ooh. Koro ang kalanga masala na baa wali baa masala nikasii bakia. I want to praise God for what God has done in my life. Then ibi methimba ndiye angkatintiba. Biniba ya hembi nkende huuma masala basidi ambuhe bidega unte unte unte unte bidegua huma. Binoenakodaye pastor mbina. Amen.

Today I can tell you those 13 villages I was leading through the grace of God when I became saved after all those horrible time of persecutions. I also began to take the Gospel to those my three leaders and they have all become Christians and today many of them are pastors, they are master trainers.

Ibi handanu, handanu, huu ndio kokochoge ba makorabe. Before asichendu ndungu, mkuntungu chika kokochoge kena maende machuta yako endema nia ghoramini before angko tena. Even my own father who was leading the delegation to kill me, my father has given his life to Christ. We have baptized him. Even when I was coming for this trip, my father has to lay his hands on me and pray for me. My father is now also a Christian. So ang kote bado mna masala deraiba Mungu mabata mwende. I have come to the realization that Christ, absolutely, there is nothing he cannot do. Kerebandama dunguna sembe moo kawali baga alabana chengu ingu hisi banko. But after my conversion and I was still sharing the Gospel little by little, but what empowered me the more, it was when I was trained or discipled through the Tree of Life.

Before kande ya kwa banka anduu ndio nyogu yao o andupayo baa pungia na ndiyang korona chengu ingu hisi banku matanani madungu mahera baa pungia na ndiyang yehundungu mahera baa anjo sabia bimandi. So before now, when I became saved, I was a little bit hesitant to share my testimony or to go around telling people about Jesus. But when I went through the discipleship training with the Tree of Life, then I now I was empowered not to be ashamed to share my testimony and I was empowered not to be ashamed to share my stories and to reach other people to talk about my past. Then anudelea lediti, naba hantoechakubala, hantoechania karangu. Na maana ya kwade angka yetempendaka masala tang koro kuyingku hisi banku ndungu masembe.

So the other stumbling block I had was I cannot read and write. So I was like, okay, the Bible is written in English. How am I going to share it with people? But through the training with the Tree of Life, I was empowered that I can share God's word just with my ordinary mouth without even knowing how to read the Bible. I can share it. And now I've been empowered and I'll keep on sharing Christ till I die. So mwenye toechanya karangu, hutoa hona tanani naikae ibi ya nkuche manimaye si bamang de manimachugue mang na maana mim pungubayo si heni bing kama nimachugue mang babedetia kama nimaisii bama. Ndiyo. Yon tanga hako hii esore nkoo hii.

So na wayo ncheng, bakora, bachichwa, then koro Jesus cheng, baa tuluna minabaa minaniako yanga. Wow. What empowered me most in the manual of the Tree of Life, you have pictures. You will see if you cannot read the writing, there are photos.

And so those pictures would help you to explain. So say for example, when they were teaching us that God has given us an assignment to take people from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light, that we are fishers of men. So in that photo, you will see a man standing with his hook, uh fishing people out of darkness and to the dead's river and bringing them to the river of life. And then you will see the scripture there, John 10:10, that the devil has come to kill, to steal, and to destroy. But Jesus has come to give us life. So now I can explain the word of God through that teaching because I'm seeing the pictures.

So then kakuchea hera helen kabugo bena unti ndo helen kende kuchu ka yiheni binde danka bang. So na maana mio si heni bing yogo ni nyieyi eba chali. Because in tagine itunduka danka baa udomba hewo nyoma loba rebo ha danka bang.

Wow. So you will see it's very simple with those trainings because they showed you how to fish, physical fishing. You have to have the bait first of all and put it on the hook. And then when you throw it, the fish will take it and you'll be able to pull it out. So we are now told how to do it also spiritually, how to do it in the Christian life. So anchenga hali ya ndo bado maa, ibi yaandaa na angeke ya pungutandi biahi yangu ama andaa bachalungu utotika danka baa mbaa ama nchi nkitpungia na ndiyang. Sonche ukiungu undete wa utantana ghoronanche poena sonche ando utantandi idangandina. So nataki pungia na hewu na ndiyang, korando menda henda baba nyieye mama arigongu.

Nenda kuchea hera baya sabia bimandika wali baga alabando. So the way God empowered me, going through that training, we are taught that your testimony is debate. Telling your testimony is debate that you put on the hook. The gospel is the hook, but your testimony is debate. So just like you cannot send an empty hook and the fish will not take, I cannot also just go and share the gospel. I have to tell people my past. So I was empowered from that training. Now I started telling people my life. So some people, we are encouraged. I would tell people, maybe you are just a junior, somebody in the kingdom of darkness. I would tell them how senior I was in the kingdom of darkness and how I have come out.

And through my testimony, many people have come to Christ because they have seen how dark I was and how God has changed my life. They see how the story has changed. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So ang kalanga masala na baa kuyingku hisi banko medoni ghoramini baa tata yu masala bini dungungu hera because utimuba wale banka kereno ala bini ndungumbia bini masijena wale banka.

We want to praise God for the Tree of Life training. It's a very powerful tool to disciple people. Like me personally, I've been really empowered through that training. And we are praying that God will continue to provide people for Joe, that we continue to be around that vision, that we support that vision because it's a great vision and that vision will save a lot of people to Christ.

Naachemu kimu mim pungimu sula redio nenda dungunenda mahele hera baa pungeta sogota kitabuungu then hele ndoni kara anaditeka kitabuungu ya kuchugendea huyu angpungu euni wa kitabuungu katoko baga masala. I have been more empowered with the solar radios because when I went through the training, okay, I was just sharing my own testimonies, but I didn't have any way to coach a Bible verse.

But with the solar radios now, when I listen to it, I can memorize some verses within myself. And when I go to talk to people, I can coach some Bible verses. If you can read, you can open your Bible and see that what I'm telling you is the same with what I've listened to the solar radios. Do we have your Bible, your audio Bible here? Iki solar radio ukenda. Amugu mara angki anzanimpea. Is this it? Is this your angka yangu? Kena, me? Yes.

So yeah. So because you can't read or write, but this is how you get God's word. Okay. Oh, it's a okay. So it's a solar flare. Ah, and then it plays off this SD card. Yeah. Yeah? ISD card. Yeah? And this is what you use? Oh, that's unitless. Unitless. Unitless. So dundungu, begini kama kwale maa kwa hega tati, emasomaa ema hayaka maa kwa hega tati, emasomaa nama. Mpungu igendee bama timu. So when I listen to this, this is my own teacher, it teaches me even in Marthi 22. Yeah, Marthi 22. Marthi 22 from verse 17. Oh, 37. 37. So 39. So 39. Ah, you see he knows so much.

So then I listen to God's word there and it tells me how I should love the Lord my God with all my heart and all my strength and how I should love my fellow man like I love myself. So with that, I tell people it's not good to take your fellow human's life anymore because Bible says you should love other people like yourself. So, but we didn't know this. It was in the Bible. So now I am saved. I can now listen to this and I'm empowered more to love people now than what was happening in the past. The sogota mahali anola tempungu chochote dundu then eanda antukia rahutuuma ukiang eana chepemu dundu katoko baba masala.

So through the solar radio, I'm listening to it, I memorize it in my heart, and then I go to my congregation and share the word of God, and I go to people in community and share the word of God through this solar radio that is teaching me on a daily basis. Mwenye kimba koto taduba tara matati ndo kwa wale baga masala baa ndio ukega onu banga bugo udumu na jichono mi tanga hakontokae itasonda tati. Begini kama kwale maa holo maa hayaka kama kwale maa kohe maa ya kuchuna pungire de masala ibi mbabe tantan bena siga nyago achake bing bie kangepungabanti. Kere masala wona digie bila tarak pongemba sumbai kauna ampung basi kitimo kwale maa. Say for example, as I listen the scripture, you want to know the benefit of humility and being humble.

You go to Deuteronomy chapter 28 from verse 1 all the way to verse 10. It will give you what and what you should do to stay humble and the blessings and rewards that you have for humility. And God's promise is so strong there that He has promised us if we become obedient that people, enemies who come to attack you in one way, they will guard up, but they will scatter in different directions. So I'm receiving a lot of teachings from God's words from the proclaimer here at this solar radio. Then yaota utsebe doronge karandu mkimi ndo mande pastor mbinga kuyingku hisi banku mkaicha karangu kere Bible ukenchu nao. I want to let you know in this conversation that I'm not the only pastor who cannot read and write.

We have many pastors like me who are sharing God's word and they are only depending on the solar radio to teach them God's word, but they are doing great ministry for God. But this is only what they are using.

Katoba masala and unoti uyeti uyeti. Through God's grace, I'm being helped a lot by this solar radio. Because Paul dume gabugo wa Philippian na ambiandeta haya kerando digi digingi baktara bapungabage kuta kupaka chandego mimi kayego. As I'm listening the proclaimer, Paul says in Philippians that he has not yet arrived, but he's striving towards the mark for the price that is laid ahead of him. So I too have not arrived, but I'm pressing very hard towards that mark. So chimuchuma ndio chipeye una.

I know sometimes because of my evil past and my life, some people are afraid of me or they may be afraid. But I like I tell Joe all the time, people should not be afraid of me because of my past evil life and what I have done in the past. People should not be afraid to sleep with me. I can no longer kill anybody. So we can sleep together, we can eat together, we can do everything. I'm a new creation and I know we are all hoping for eternity where we shall all one day be before the great throne of the great Lord and we shall all celebrate together. So people should not be afraid of me.

I'm a transformed man. I'm a changed man. That is just of my past. But now I'm in Christ. I'm a new man. Ando kwa te masala humo magande bampungabaa humuna helen bie gende bing muna bie masala mapena yosagende. I know the purpose why God took me out of that evil having gone so high in the demonic world. He took me out so that He can use me as an instrument to also take those who are in darkness out of that place.

Kuramine kutumua mabibe minanyie kuramine kasalungu mkao yegede baba waliba. In this conversation, I want you to know that to be honest with you in Sierra Leone, there's thick darkness and I want you to pray for Sierra Leone. Because wale bambaa keyago koro patimbe mande seta nyieye mkao yegide.

Yes, it is true that the gospel is moving, striving, going to many villages, but I can tell you there's a lot of evil forces that are contending with the work. It's really difficult. Temu hante ibi nchekemee juu temu keming haga mandae chengaga siri kudi.

Sembe baga masala bang ankote bani wale because naende mingendekei langpao ni wale mbai mbioum na mingeka mandaa then denigu yakpa. There's so much evil. Even the last chiefdom where we are now, when Joe went to the last team we was in together, there was this evil man who is the custodian of evil into that particular area. He's doing a lot of havoc and. That was in the north, yeah? Yeah. Up in here? Yeah, so yeah, in Sierra Leone, in the northway, somewhere around here. So like this man, because of the prayers of the saint, as the team was going, he could not stay in the town, in the village. He has to leave. We bothered with him, with all his evil.

Some of the team members saw him. And I don't know, one member of the team managed to take his photo, but I don't know who is that person. But then when we were also coming out, he was also returning again back because of the power of God. He could not settle in that village.

And we have also heard that he has left that village and he left many of his evil things. He could not even gather all of them to go. So God is really at work. Breaking the darkness and the evil. Yeah, breaking. So niye minaguramine mtutumuba jima patu bena mo because. Yang eh machuchei mamaki ya mandaa kamungu makaa yuye beni wale mongimo bena kena timua mbani ya wale bando kote masala wamekachipete bema ndema sasa kote bema. So keep us in your prayers because that the Lord will continue to make way for us. For me sitting here, I know the evils we did into those darkness. And everywhere I'm hearing of these practices, I know the magnitude and the level of evil that they are perpetuating there.

And I love to go there where they are doing it because I know I have been empowered by Christ. I have greater power than the power they have. So I'm not afraid to go wherever they are. Baa kuyingku hesiba mkungukoto menata na ni chimuchuma na misii matani makaacha hela wale banga yako yako mang muna angka unte unte. Ah, baba matani mama meni banga wale banga helenkaa. Because through the training we have received, we are empowered. And when you listen to the gospel every day, God's word is empowering you about the authority Jesus has given to believers. So you are not afraid to confront the kingdom of darkness to take the gospel there. And when you we also went through the training of 411, also how to incorporate the new believers, how they can become active to be part of sharing God's word.

So all of these things is empowering us on a daily basis to take the gospel into those communities. Because temu nani na woyerogo hundimi hititani holo baha na woyerogo tampataga masala ta usewe kitemu utogoe bami mpirisa korona chema tanani ma muna angka unte unte. Wewe si wompunge baya yero go tampataga masala ta ikote bado mnaunu baa unyegure dibani ya wale banga pirisa nini deni itanani mbana deni wale banga kote we. Before now, when someone comes to Christ, we keep them long in the church trying to teach them some things, hold on to them without baptism. But with the basic trainings we have received, now immediately someone comes to Christ, confess faith in Christ, baptize them immediately, begin to encourage them to go out also and to share the gospel, begin to send them out so they can share the word of God.

So niye minaguramine kasalungu en katoko baga masala mdutimu muni walimu bamu unyo wale bambaa akege katoko baga masala. We want you to keep praying in all the brethren for Sierra Leone. It's truly a dark country. But with the help of the training we are receiving and the tools we are receiving to do God's work, God is empowering us. We are moving. So keep on praying that God will continue to make the resources available to send the team to keep going out. Mdunigu ramine ebe mdokote bado ma mkao yegide ebe hele mkao bado mnakopruu na upagambi kataa nanda akaka sigiti kere mdunigu ramine woyuo utontongomba masiti kuyingku hesiba angkung no hubio hambi peto baba mdubawa limbe mduniegure de katoko baga masala korentanta kangi mipungu humuna bameshe.

We want to let you know we are available. The human resource, God is raising a lot of master trainers and pastors to go. But the truth of the matter is that we don't have the physical cash or the resources to go. So we are asking the brethren to keep praying for us that God will provide. We also know that people all over the world have their own passion and needs. But we are requesting that God will continue to provide the resources that we need so we can keep going because we are ready to share the gospel. We are ready to go to those villages and those communities. But all we are trusting God for is those resources that will keep our going as we go.

Mkaa bado mnabachongo dantege hupanga hokenchi. Koro still Paul still pungu mkabugu ukena ma bado ma. Na mwenye eh Paul. Tui Apollus nigu wacha mbe dombamu muga maharigung sumi huoma bawa limbina mi kere wowo kie bande pungu andokote kabing kababiandega dungu mba ngakega biabe penge chibing unichagu hisi kere nabeniwe hera hamba mina masiti masiti mina baba masala uminie wale ukote wale bani ni.

So last I've been sharing my testimonial story with Joe and Zane. I would tell them that not that we are trying to talk how poor we are or we are just sitting there trying to be a burden. That's not the situation. But we are sharing the realities of life and the gospel so that we will share with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world for them to know that God is working on this side and they can be used by God in whatever way. Say like for example when Paul says when I listen to the solar radio, Paul says that uh uh the scripture says that uh Paul will uh plant and Apollos will water.

Yeah But then the increase will come as a result of God. So now we are available as pastors and master trainers in Sierra Leone to do the work. We have the word to go, but also the resources that the brethren can support or send from the west is all going to join together to do God's kingdom work. And then God will finally bring the increase and he will receive the glory. Mdukate wale bambiko mdukote sembe baga masala bambaa bide puchuchu den bide kiu bide toma hii sutumutuma andodong niye minaguramine enoye bingaka kote wabamina niyegurame. I have been giving this prayer request uh to Joe or Zane or many of the brethren have come across and I'm also sharing with you same prayer point.

We are willing and dedicated and committed to keep sharing the gospel. But the truth of the matter, I'm not reading the written Bible, but the audio Bible has also told me that we have a responsibility to take care of our families. That if we don't take care of our families, we are more than unbelievers. And I've listened that to the word of God. And sometimes when I keep going to villages and I'm thinking what my family will eat when I go, sometimes I begin to also feel guilty of myself. So like I've made a prayer point to others, keep praying for us that the Lord will also make a way for our families so that because we have given ourselves completely to the kingdom work, we don't want to distract ourselves with any other activity as the work of reaching these villages is very huge.

So our focus is on a daily basis to go. But the reality is that I have my family, other pastors or master trainers have their families, and then living sometimes is very challenging. So you are caught up whether going back to stay with your family, find what they can eat, or you keep going in the bush, or you are caught up in between if you say to come, you think of a village where they are still doing child sacrifice. And so this is sometimes very challenging for us. So keep praying for us also that God will open doors so that at least our families will have a means to survive and we can just keep pushing God's work.

Ah Kenshu before msipe mbaa changa dunum muda wote ndiye ulikuwa unitie mingaa la bangka mchingege ya bangka doro mbage serikati ya mbaa Kenshu ichanga helen dunung then hami mbe helen ko chingege mnema sala gani huprovide beni utoro then bibi ayeye masala na bibi dado na hii mbe bami yeme masala na biye yeme masala na bibi dago ni utoro. So say for example uh we took the team together with my team leader we took the team recently to Kamukhe the new team that we took there we were part of that team we just left from the mission field came home to take our clothes straight to this place here and now we have left our family again straight we'll be going and then back to the mission field so wow then if you just leave your family like that sometimes it's very challenging so that's why we want you to like just pray alongside us.

Sumu ya mkungu humu homa anduchitima babemi na niyeguramine because unkao niyego hisi boso mingee mpati bethani boso bamaandi bichitima kenshu sumu duniguramine bamasala peta hubio because mikae tantandaa gimini bata mpataga hala tampe bena dumemu chepino. When I'm sharing God's word or talking with people about what God has done and where God took me from, I'm always very blunt and frank with me because I know my accountability is to God and into God's kingdom. But the truth of the matter is that as we labor for God in Sierra Leone, it is very hard with some of us living statuses and so forth. It is really very difficult and tough. As many of us, we are absolutely not involved into anything again other than taking this gospel to the lost.

Mm - hmm But the reality is you are also confronted with family needs and sometimes. So keep praying that God gives us wisdom in that. Mm - hmm Because mingie yuye henimi mkungu yoga kuyingku hesiba angkobadama na kamungu masapo bako tatampataga masala ta so mingine nebaema kamungu magaba peo bako tatampataga masala ta manemi kuchiri mamasema katembo toko baga maruo. The vision of training to send is that no place left, no place left. And to talk about no place left, it goes with a lot of responsibility and challenges as well. It means you have to have men and women who have completely laid their life on a daily basis to go out to spread the gospel and shout for villages that have not had the gospel.

And if that is going to take place, then those men who are going also, they are humans also that have basic needs or things they need to live on. So but that is the vision. And we want to push that vision. And then we don't want to be entangled to other things. We just want to keep that vision going. Na mdongo eba pongeya dundu mkuu yuko hesiba angkoni eh mu masalani gasili bake nchi wewe miaingie dundu misaa lenni baha lahe koro anupe tu wewe ti babeng kotona masalani wale bami. I know to talk about what God has done over the years is going to be a very long one with this conversation. But I want to thank you for the opportunity of what you have had.

Because to share what God has done is just too much for me to explain. It is there's so many testimonies and many things I've seen God doing. So I want to praise God for what God is doing in my life and in the life of many people. Mduniguramine no manlogo mabinon tena yuche doro nda makutu endige angabe sa doro makutu ka inkalengi kere manlogo ya manonteni alapeta hubio emi huu mabi andenge ndiye ka us mingupungia ebe mingute nandi eh babeng kotona masalani wale emi duniguramine masala gompete hubio ha. He's praying that God in his own ultimate divine power would make a way that not only one day we just see him in the video where like you are seated but you will have the opportunity whether to come to Sierra Leone others will come to Sierra Leone and they'll see what God is doing.

But who knows maybe one day God will also give him the opportunity to sit in front of people in the US and share his testimony bluntly and tell people what God has done so they can see him vividly that this is the man called Mamadu that God took from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. So who knows what God will do. Na ndokote masala huu mbenadungu hera haimbi mkampoo ya nka ibii haondani hongu masala sana ni hizi zingitie ibii nikikucha bado mnachinchingino ya huona reba ma nia ukae kere masala chinchingini ndio naenda halenga ucha. My prayer is for you to come to Sierra Leone so that maybe you reach to my village and then see my father who wanted to kill me but as a result because of evil that was influencing him but now he's transformed.

But you will have the opportunity to set eyes on my father and you will see my village, see my community and see many of those I was leading in the evil but now they are working for Christ. And I can tell you these was those I was leading but now they are also now in Christ. Ankaa kote wewe utantambaye mamaarugu mdogo chendea ni katinti mmeting koo hii bante mmeting koo hii bacha achiga ka biani bata antamba kwa deba mbaadaa andunigu lidi mmeting kontokae eba sombaye bani ukoba katampataga masala ta. I have no regret being in Christ. There's been a vast difference. So many things. When I was in the kingdom of darkness, I was in charge of 13 villages.

Now in Christ, I'm leading 27 villages, leading all of us sharing the gospel with people. So I'm seeing vast difference. I'm with joy, I'm with peace now in Christ. And I'm not having any regret of turning my back from those darkness and to come. And now I have the responsibility to travel to 27 villages to see how the work is going, monitor my pastors so how the work is going. Sometimes in a month, I'm not even able to go around those 27 villages.

So ankao na masala namba wale baba sala ni. I want to praise God for what God is doing. Eh wani uniba ewe uchigepe uya ugende? Eh nakingepe. But I know I'm with you here. I said let's hear how you are listening to it. Let's hear how he's listening to the gospel.

Mimi Play by TF Cars. Una nioe kama terema na terinundi kekengu na kanu kindi na lenyundi ngaseringao lidi ta. This. Na ucholi na bignindi masala duniaba. This is Genesis. And it's explaining the creation story. So nayenuli masala duniaba unaonuba. So how God created the world, that is what it is. Hitae lemanga faini. Lididi mbatika dundu biaba mde nyoka metima emi ledongo katasilita bena enea wali ni mkano ya lemanga kotoe. So masala deye ni ndio duniaba huuma ehenua bia metimbi bikina bacho ona na biaba kae ewe duniaba. So God created the world. He's the creator of the world and all human race in the world. So he created the world and then he begins to narrate the creation story now.

Kama terema kanu masala ndiye ni arjana wa namene duniaba. Ndani the first mtaalike holo ndiye ni masala yare ya nao ni duniaba mna ihenii masala. So in the creation story, the first thing that God created, he created the heavens and the earth.

Sembe na maba benki sembe dangadi huoma kasembe mpaka duniabamba. So sembe mpaka masala ba. Bayamimba sembe huoma duniabamba. So waandite mbe mwanakaiga baga ngapai because sembe mpaka masala bayamichi. So aye memaarigo. So he's now telling us how he's using the solar radio when he's teaching his people or teaching a group. Like now, yeah now. Play some teach. Yeah, play teach. Yeah, now he's explaining to us if God is the one who has created the heavens and the earth and his power sustains everything, which power do you think is more greater than the power of the Almighty? Why are you running after demonic power that will make you to kill your child? Why are you running after other power that will make you to drink human blood?

Why can't you just depend on the power of the Almighty that is more powerful than all powers? Potemba doma na wamba bena bayohoi huntumaha na huyi hita. So mi huma mimba ya kotoba doma na wamba bena ayohoi. Nzima haa huyi hita. Mnabiye minsonga kengu bena. Inawamba mariki inawamba eme ee mariki inawamba kanu dungu minasiba edungu nemi inawamba mbaameni ema kafaidi ufuma hawonaka naina ee mariki inawamba.

So masala hii ni nchi maang ee wamba kere mkimba kotona wamba bena bayohoida. God created the light and darkness, but we must know that darkness is not good, it's the light that is good. And so that's why Jesus is the light, and so we should follow him. And that's the song I will sing and teach my people that Jesus is the light, and he is the only one that is more powerful and greater than all forever and ever. So naangoka katana noa chiking and then ingesonga kengu na sunge deni anturogo ntao ikucheng kengungu mna nyiegu kumini bamiye mamaarigo. So when I go to evangelize or to teach people, disciple others, I play my solar radio and sometimes I sing the song and then I draw their attention and then I begin to play it and to explain God's words to them.

Anyway, bawaka tuombe because na midongo ya dundu manebi ambaye anakae problem. And ultimu bami ukungia ham because and ukuchoko wewe hoe na angkungi nena masala sisi sembe banga mkungia mo. Yes, I know you have another program or maybe other activities, but for me, to be honest with you, as I'm discussing in this conversation, the more I talk about what God is doing, how I'm using these tools, I'm fired up with fresh grace. I'm feeling joy within me is flowing as I share with you how I have been using this to witness to countless souls that have come to Christ through these tools.

There's a joy that is running down in my heart. It's that darkness to the light that you're describing, right? Fishing people from the stream of darkness and into the stream of light. Yeah. Mingie ya muguma ramika ya nanta mbingungu chom kitabu una mingie ya muguma ramika ya mna ndo bakara mati ndo bakara dichonomi ndo bakara picha first picha second picha first chimochi second chimochi o huuma and ukira muguma. So we want those of you who are providing these tools for you to know that it's a great tool and it is helping those of us who cannot read and write that it is just like those who have the print Bible, they can turn to Matthew or John or first Peter, second Peter.

Through the solar radio also, I can turn to any chapter of the Bible or book that I want. So I can turn it there. So for you to know that this is the same way people who are opening the Bible is the same way we have this tool. And that is why we want it to be in the hand of everybody, not just a group, so that they can have it as a personal Bible like you have a personal print Bible. So people should also be able to have a personal solar radio and not a group, even though the group is good, but you cannot keep. So but now like I have this, it's personal, so I carry it anywhere I want to go.

So that those who are giving us this, there will be more solar radios that people have it because you can flip your solar radio Bible into first John, first Peter, whatever you want to do, second Peter, you can turn it the same way you are turning the print Bible. It's the same way we can turn this one. Mduniguramine bame husumi huu mim pungu wewe wanyoe unuba unaminia guramine babe unaomba kitabu. My prayer request is that each of our convert, they should be able to access this one to have it. Be able to access God's word because and if they can't read. Yeah. To access God's word. They have to have this. Yeah. Yes, they have to have this.

Or something like that. Yeah. Yeah, something like that. Because kasalung mekae karang dimiki karang ya msimabe kae karang. So na mingi moga dungu imba muna yawe. Yeah, because most of our areas of evangelistic effort where I go is like most people really they don't have access to they are like me some of them they can't read and write and they are in the high number so they will only depend on this one also to be able to understand God's word.

So uwe albina. So I want to say thank you and thank you. Paona beya nchi ya kengu maarigo jisi. Yes, I don't know if you have any other question for me. That's hard to even know what to ask after hearing all of this. So wow. One moment. Yeah. Wow.

I think the one last question I would have, or maybe it's more of a statement, there are still many villages all across Sierra Leone that still practice witchcraft and child sacrifice. Do you know how many that is? And I guess encourage us all to pray.

Yeah, that's a great question. Sierra Leone itself as a country, we are still wondering why the enemy Satan, specifically, I know maybe there may be evil going on in other nations, but there's so much darkness in Sierra Leone. So when you talk about the issue of child sacrifice or how many villages, it's like you are almost talking about a whole nation.

The secret society for Sierra Leone is a national something. It is not just to a specific tribe or a specific group. So almost every Sierra Leonians have to go through the secret society initiation. It is from different tribes, it is from different groups, but you have all to go through the process.

The magnitude of the child sacrifice is more major in the north because of the way the enemy has designed it. So if you are talking about number, quantity, specifically, let's say, for example, if you have 1,000 or 2,000 villages in the north, it means all those 2,000 villages, there is none will tell you, we don't do child sacrifice.

So it's a huge job. For now, we have mapped up like 500. Maps, 500 that you know of. That we have mapped up now that we are targeting within these 500, we want to see how we will be able to do. But absolutely that number outweighs, far outweigh that 500 villages.

So it's a great work uh that we still have at hand in the chief dong where he is leading. They have 66 villages, all practicing that sacrifices, part of where he was. And we have only been able to reach out to 200, sorry, 27 of those villages.

There's more. Out of 66. Out of 66. And we have other chiefdoms like Kasongo chiefdom would have about 77 villages. And we have only been able to be maybe in the 15 or 20. Wow. So, and then you take Kamuke where we are now, we are just starting and they have over 50 villages. So we have a lot more to go. So the issue of villages that are practicing this kind of life is just too many. And we just continue to pray that God is going to raise up more uh human resource people that will give themselves because reaching those villages by themselves, one, you are confronted by evil, both spiritual and physical. Two, reaching those villages themselves, the terrain is very difficult, makes it more hard to go.

It's like you really have to give up your life to be able to go there or to be able to stay there. So we just keep on to pray that God will continue to, like Jesus says, we'll pray to the master of the harvest that he will give us more laborers on the field and God is raising laborers. We also continue to pray that God will continue to provide for his kingdom work and we can keep going on. Because as we go to villages, one of the most striking things I have heard that always beat me down is when mothers cry and said, "I wish you would have come before now. They would have not killed my children.

They would have not killed my child." And in some villages, they will say, "Just a few days ago, I lost my child, this and that was killed. I wish you were here." So those are really like very touching words that always left me down, brokenhearted. And we want to make sure that we keep moving with the word into those villages.

And so those who want to pray, and we continue to ask you to pray for the protection of those master trainers or pastors who are on the bush and the field because it's a difficult place. And you keep on to pray for those who are going, that God will continue to help us to go deep. Yeah. And we continue to trust the Lord for what is needed to go deep into those communities. Yeah. But there's still a huge number. And the practices, the challenge, like I can tell you, like while it's not like nationally declared and acceptable, but by implication, it is.

Because you have people in high authority who are also part of it. And no police, or it's not a court case. It is not a police case because all the lawyers, the securities, they are all part of the secret society. So nobody can arrest anybody for sacrificing the child and so forth. So it's a very difficult situation.

And if at all it comes out, it is not seen as a sacrifice. It is not seen as evil. It has been rated as something else. So it's difficult to contend with. And if you are known that you are the one who has brought it out, you are also on the hunt to be killed.

Yeah. So it's God that is keeping us on a daily basis. And but it's a challenging nation to live and to do. Sometimes if people come in Freetown and they see just the city and they see some churches around with a lot of posters and stickers, they think, "Oh, yes, it's but that's not the real picture."

It's just the enemy for whatever reason has crippled many of the churches not to go deep. And people maybe are scared of if I go, what will become. But like Mamadu is saying, it's because many people have read the scriptures and they don't want to leave what they have read. Because the first thing Jesus did with giving the great commission is giving us power and authority over all darkness and all over the powers of the enemy. And he says, "Nothing by any means shall hurt us. Nothing absolutely should hurt us." So we should depend on his word and we can keep going.

Yeah. So there's many more villages. Yeah. There's many, many more villages with the same practices. Like now, there's a lot of initiation. This rainy season, this month, from last month to this month to next month, a lot of initiation and more will be killed. Yeah. Wakati wa mabambo huyu biande. Yeah. Ni penketima kuchapaga. Yeah. The rainy season like this, a lot of children are sacrificed for rice, for harvest. Yeah. Because in the rainy season, they make farms and then they tell them to sacrifice children for harvest, for good harvest. So it's a difficult times. There's a lot of sacrifices going on during the rainy season like this. And we are drawing closer to election in 2008.

We'll have a national election again. There's a lot of sacrifices of human sacrifices for those who want to be in authority. They go for a lot of evil powers. So Sierra Leone is really dark. It's really dark. Kuchemishini guramine bey mba takubalika tamuna. Naona temu bena cha ena imini ebu huyu mchimbamandi. So mpache hatuluwa temu bena katoa obama saga unaamini guramine. Yeah. So the reason why sometimes we pray and make requests for people who are supporting with motorcycles is because empowering a pastor with a motorcycle can help him to cover many villages. Like now in this rainy season, if you have more additional motorcycles, then you are able to send more pastors into villages deep and then a lot of children's life can spare.

I say that's why sometimes it's good to have more sending out to spare more life. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Mamadu, Momo, this has been an honor. It really has. Thank you for sharing your story with us today. Yeah.
