Bible Verses About Kingdom of God

The kingdom of God is central to Jesus' preaching and the apostolic vision of righteousness, peace, joy, holiness, and allegiance to a reign not of this world. Scripture traces the kingdom from announcement to discipleship, prayer, treasure, parables, new birth, church ethics, suffering, mission, and final inheritance. The kingdom cannot be reduced to heaven after death, political power, or a vague spiritual slogan.

The passages show the King, the people who receive the kingdom, the righteousness expected of them, and the hope that God's reign will be fully revealed.
