Any brothers have any good resources on getting disentangled from politics. Turning off the news is one thing but changing the heart is another. I confess this season and its politics was a huge source of frustration for me and because of seeing my anger, I want nothing to do with it anymore for the rest of my life. Please pray for me and make intercession on behalf of my sin.

Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah; 5 and they said to him, “Behold, you have grown old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now appoint us a king to judge us like all the nations.” 6 But the matter was displeasing in the sight of Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” And Samuel prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord said to Samuel, “Listen to the voice of the people regarding all that they say to you, because they have not rejected you,

but they have rejected Me from being King over them.

Yea politics is one subject that we have to be very careful with. It is really hard especially to stay off the news (Not that news is wrong. News are very useful and healthy when used rightly). But we have to be able to create a line somewhere on how far we are going to go.

I don't really have any resources but I want to encourage you to keep going down the track you are already on. Being concerned about how to handle this kind of stuff is the first step.
