I've been a Christian for about twenty years. I began my journey by attending a Salvation Army church. It wasn't long before I was having trouble with aligning what I was reading in the Bible with what I was seeing at church. For the duration of my journey I felt like I was seeking something but I didn't know exactly what it was.
A few weeks ago I discovered the Didache, which led to me finding the early church Father's. I was ecstatic to realize that the Apostolic traditions and the students of the Apostles had a faith that looked like the one I had been trying to find for my whole Christian walk.
I don't know that I'm going to find too many people in my small town who will leave the Christianity they grew up with and follow a truly Biblical faith so I'm hoping to get in touch with others on the internet in order to be strengthened and encouraged in my journey and who I can encourage in theirs.
