Where do you find evidence for baptizing by immersion. And is it okay to be baptized again if you were only baptized by pouring a handful of water on your head?

Dear brother Wilson,
I thank you for expressing your concerns.
However, this is really beginning to border on the ridiculous.
I do not “allow for a protective canopy for active, high-handed sin”. This is an active misrepresentation on your part.
Please refer back to that thread to see what I actually said. (Link provided:
As I have formerly mentioned, I don’t think there’s a bunch of early Anabaptists who are going to hell right now because God wants to nitpick at their best attempt to obey what He said in regard to baptism.
I always qualified what I’ve said to anybody in this thread, by saying that I don’t believe in that kind of a God. Through throughout this thread, I have said that I believe immersion is the mode most consistent with the language used in scripture. That has been my consistent contention. Brother Nathaniel said that he had prayed his prayer while immersing himself in a pool, out of desire to make sure he was obeying God. I do not think he is foolish or misguided. Neither, broadly speaking, do I believe those early Anabaptists were either foolish or misguided. Brother Nathaniel said that he did this before he and I had ever conversed. I don’t think that I am the great tormentor of conscience that you have made me out to be.
Brother Wilson, you have misrepresented me multiple times, which I will presume to be due to a lack of carefulness on your part, rather than any malicious intent.
But regardless, I feel akin to the windmills of Don Quixote. Meaning, I don’t think that i is what you think that i is.

Friends, I think it best that I retire from this particular discussion thread. I thank everyone here for their earnestness and candor.
I have been blessed to converse with such dear brethren,
and I pray that God bless you as you strive to walk in unrelenting faithfulness to the Lord who spared no expense on our behalf.

I want to say right now I have been pondering the issue of baptism long before this Topic began. Long before I even joined the historic faith website. Actually I count it a joy to pursue more deeply the three witnesses, which we have here on Earth. The Spirit, the Water, and the Blood. Also I am not worried nor disturbed by anything that has been shared. I am simply seeking God’s direction in my life. And I welcome input from my brothers and sisters.
