Thankfully David Bercot has his Romans series on here, I’ll check that out and hope it’ll shed light on my issue.

Hey y’all, I have a problem at hand. Hope I posted in the right spot and that y’all can help point me in the right direction. How do I understand King David being a man after Gods own heart but sin being present. When I brought up how Paul in Romans 7:14-25, talking about the “wretched man”, was talking about a man who doesn’t know Christ; it was mentioned how King David was not free from sin. I’m just seeking to understand the story of David more so I can understand God well, and articulate to others what Paul is communicating. Any thoughts or recourses that y’all send my way will be appreciated, thank you in advance.
