Kinda random, I’ve just been thinking about him lately…
I have been wondering this myself. I am looking into differing opinions about him. He was accused of being a communist by the government and not radical enough by some of his own followers. I love many of his thoughts and quotes that seem to line up with the teachings of Jesus. I would love to hear more from others on this too.
Hello. Actually there are many stories concerning adultery and even one incident where he might have been present during a rape and didn't even try to stop it but even encouraged the assaultant. However, it's not a proven fact at all. But for the adultery there seems to be quite some evidence. You can find all of these stories just by googling 'Martin Luther King adultery' or something like that and you can read through the articles yourself. Blessings.
Hi. Thanks for the feedback. I asked my dad and he didn’t have much good to say about him. Said he was a womanizer. Find it hard to believe as he said some really good, true things.
King Solomon had some really good, true things to say as well, didn't he? ;)
It should simply remind us not to put people on a pedestal as it won't help either us nor them. We will be disappointed by them and they will be tempted to become prideful and or to abuse their position.
