Hello Lee,
I'm glad to hear of your interest in learning Greek. I just got done completing a course on Biblical Greek (although I will probably never be totally done learning it). I am very happy to recommend the course that I was able to use which is called the Biblical Greek Program. This is their website: https://biblicalgreekprogram.org/
It is mostly online, but they do have 3 different 2 week classes throughout the program that are in person. So I don't know if you will be able to fit this into your life with your current responsibilities, but I thought I'd at least let you know about this one. There may be other courses that are good too. Best wishes!
Mark,
Thanks so much for your response! I will certainly check into it.
I am glad to hear of your interest in studying Biblical Greek. Studying this language has been a hobby for me for some time now. I used the textbook Basics of Biblical Greek by William D. Mounce. I studied on my own and did not have a teacher or a class. I just got the textbook, workbook, video lectures, and a few other resources, and it took me about 6 months to complete the course in my spare time. I really like the structure of the course.
Zondervan does offer an online course based on this textbook. biblical greek (courses.zondervanacademic.com) — https://courses.zondervanacademic.com/all/biblical-greek

Anyway, I just thought I'd share my experience and perhaps give you some more ideas of available resources. Best wishes as you consider options for this study. May knowledge of Greek help us to learn more of God's message to us!
Hi Lee Zimmerman,
I have several children and am in somewhat the same life situation. Last Fall I started with Biblingo.org which is sort of like a Rosetta stone like website online or koine/New Testament Greek and Hebrew for the Old Testament. It is a subscription, with a 10 day free trial. It has vocab with images/video, audio of the word or sentence, and the Greek text. They also have a Bible reading module with words already known being highlighted and Grammar and other helps that can be clicked on every word.
(They had a big sale last year on black Friday)

Another resource is Beginning New Testament Greek by Ben Merkle and Robert Plummer. It has free worksheets and lectures online. Also, Biblingo.org has vocab review for Beginning New Testament Greek organized by the chapter.
Beginning New Testament Greek is available from Christianbook.com for $25.
Another good book, rated as the best self study book by some is Learn New Testament Greek by John H. Dobson. The tagline is "Start reading meaningful verses from the Greek New Testament after just one hour of study!" There are free audio files associated with the book online. This book is available at Christianbook.com for $35.
One free resource is daily dose of Greek by Robert Plummer. Every weekday he publishes a video reading 1 verse and reviewing the meaning and Grammar of that verse in a 2-3 minute video. The videos are on YouTube or on the daily dose of Greek android/iOS app.
