First Epistle to the Corinthians

Who among you is noble-minded? Who is compassionate? Who is full of love? Let them declare, "If because of me there has been sedition, disagreement, and division, I will leave, I will go wherever you want, and I will do whatever the majority commands; only let the flock of Christ live in peace with the presbyters appointed over it." Whoever acts in this way will gain great glory in the Lord, and every place will welcome them. For "the earth is the Lord's, and everything in it." Those who live a godly life, never to be repented of, have done and always will do these things.
