Chapter 22: These Encouragements are Validated by the Christian Faith, Which Declares the Misery of Sinful Behavior.

THE FAITH IN CHRIST CONFIRMS ALL THESE ADMONITIONS: For He Himself, by the Holy Ghost, addresses us: "Come, children, listen to Me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Who is the person that desires life and loves to see good days? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to erase their remembrance from the earth.
