Epistles of Ignatius

Avoid those who deny the passion of Christ and His birth in the flesh: there are many today who suffer from this issue. But it would be pointless to advise you on other matters, as you are perfect in every good work and word and capable of encouraging others in Christ. Greet all who are like-minded with you and who hold firmly to their salvation in Christ. The presbyters and deacons, and above all the holy Hero, send their greetings to you. Cassian, my host, sends his greetings to you, as well as my sister, his wife, and their very dear children. May the Lord sanctify you forever in both physical and spiritual health, and may I see you in Christ obtaining the crown!
