Epistles of Ignatius

Offer your prayers to the Church of Antioch, from where I am being taken as a prisoner to Rome. I greet the holy bishop Polycarp; I greet the holy bishop Vitalius, the sacred presbytery, and my fellow servants, the deacons; may my soul be found in their place. Once more, I bid farewell to the bishop and the presbyters in the Lord. If anyone celebrates Passover with the Jews or accepts the symbols of their feast, they are sharing in the actions of those who killed the Lord and His apostles.
