Chapter 2: The True Passion of Christ

Now, He endured all these things for our sakes, that we might be saved. And He truly suffered, just as He truly raised Himself up, not, as certain unbelievers claim, that He only seemed to suffer, as they themselves only seem to be [Christians]. And as they believe, so it shall happen to them, when they are stripped of their bodies, and become mere evil spirits.
