Epistle to the Ephesians (Syriac Version)

For, as long as there is no lust within you that can torment you, you live in God. I rejoice in you and offer prayers for you, Ephesians, a Church renowned through all ages. For those who are carnal cannot do spiritual things, nor can those who are spiritual do carnal things; just as faith cannot do things that are foreign to faith, nor can lack of faith do what belongs to faith. For the things you have done in the flesh, even these are spiritual, because you have done everything in Jesus Christ.
