Delete your account

For The Historic Faith and CCF Calendar, provided by the Society of the Good Shepherd.

Both apps use your The Historic Faith account. Deleting that account also removes your access to both apps. Uninstalling an app does not delete your account.

Request deletion without signing in

  1. Open our contact form, or email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
  2. Use the subject Delete my account. Include your username or account email and say that you want your account and associated personal data deleted. You can identify either app: The Historic Faith or CCF Calendar.
  3. Our support team may ask you to confirm account ownership before completing the request. Do not send your password or payment-card details.

As described in our privacy policy, we process deletion requests within 30 days.

Request account deletion

If you can sign in

Open Account settings → Delete account, review the explanation, and follow the confirmation steps. The page displays the request status; a pending request is not yet a completed deletion.

Data included in your request

Your request covers sign-in details and saved sign-in methods, personal profile information, notes and highlights, playlists, learning progress, and associated posts, comments, messages and uploaded files. Personal content is removed or replaced with a deleted-content notice. Our team handles uploaded files and connected services that require additional cleanup.

Other people's replies and shared conversation or congregation records may remain. Your account deletion does not delete another person's account or their content.

Records that may be retained

A disabled account record with identifying profile details removed may remain to preserve shared records. Donation receipts and related transaction records may be retained for legal, tax and nonprofit recordkeeping requirements, for as long as those requirements apply. These exceptions are separate from the 30-day processing period for your deletion request.

Recurring donations are separate. Before deleting your account, cancel any recurring donation through donation management, or ask support for help. Account deletion does not automatically cancel a recurring donation.
