Thank you Brother David for this very helpful book. Understanding the history of how the church has departed from the historic faith is necessary to prevent repeating the same mistakes.

This book did change my life, and for that, I thank God our Father for giving us David Bercot as our brother in Christ. It presents a profoundly simple hermeneutic and epistemology: we can understand the gospel message and the divine Scriptures best by going to the earliest, faithful recipients of such message and texts. David Bercot sticks to illustrating this revelation with the most obvious distinctions between Christianity today and the earliest post-New Testament church, and these pages alone should convince most skeptics.
