This is a must listen.

My favorite lesson in this series was How Obedience Can Become Pharisaism. Most outsiders have read the Bible enough to know when our extra-biblical rules can’t be backed up with scripture. Enforcing these additional requirements could turn people away or cause them to think the legitimate doctrines of Christ (that we also promote) are also frivolous. And blessed is the one who is not offended after hearing these lessons…

A collection of messages that address things not often said in church, these don't contain anything watered down. Be prepared to be offended, challenged, inspired, and driven to action! If your toes aren't stepped on, you might have neuropathy.

Very nicely done. I especially appreciated the Pharisee lesson. Very important to remember.

Of all the courses I've taken so far, this one is the most personally challenging and convicting. I highly recommended it!

I loved this course both because 1) the content and teaching was, as usual, inspiring and challenging (and exciting, as it helps me to see more clearly how to truly live as a citizen of God’s Kingdom), and 2) because it reminded me why I’ve been so grateful to discover David Bercot and now The Historic Faith. I’ve been impressed and refreshed by the full and balanced teaching here; I love the deep and honest teaching and the call to an obedient and holy life, and yet David’s second module is entirely devoted to taking great care to not fall into the trap of Pharisaism. I listened to module on the Gospel of Jesus about the Poor twice already because that is one of the areas I’m most excited to grow in, as it was and is so central to the heart of Jesus and the gospel of the Kingdom. Lastly, the first module, “Obedience is not Legalism”, was one of my favorites in the course because I have often felt frustrated at how falsely and loosely Christians use the term.

I highly recommend going through “Radical Christian Living”!

Module on Gossip was eye opening to me, bringing some things to my attention about some of my tendencies that can lead to tearing down instead of building up those around me. Thank you for this.

Some hard things to hear but definitely worth hearing and learning from.

This course challenged everything that I believed especially just coming out of a reformed calvinistic way of interpreting the scriptures. It also convicted me knowing that what we would call "radical Christina living" is in reality just being a normal Christian.
