I've known for some time that we should be doing more expository preaching and less topical presentation. Now I understand much better the how and why that is so.

The Mt Rushmore illustration will not soon be forgotten. Glen D Yoder

An extremely helpful course to understand the Old Testament. The teaching tools presented are very useful in mining the many gems that are contained in the Scriptures. I also liked that he taught about some difficult stories that are not taught by most Christians rather than some easier ones.

I thought that the content of this course was very well done. The main word I would use to describe this course is "encouraging"! I really appreciate how dear brother Chuck presented multiple examples of how to put together and present an expository teaching lesson using some really tough portions of the Old Testament!

Dear brother Chuck is a natural encourager and I really appreciate him sharing all these insights and how-to's with us. May many able expository preachers be raised up in the Body of Christ!

The three lenses Chuck talks about give me fresh eyes to see Christ in the Old Testament

This course deeply motivated me to dig into the ward of God and study it.

This course presents an interesting and useful three-level approach to expository teaching.

one of the websites that i have come to discover through the help of my Church brothers, and Bro,such a pleasure

Great teaching and highly recommend

Taught me how to find deeper meanings in the Old Testament in a way that protects me from introducing false meanings of my own : man on the mountain be Mount Rushmore, also it got me more excited to read the Old Testament and enlighten me to the riches there within .

I loved this course and I think you will too.

I found this course to be very educational and I am inspired to put what I've learned into practice in my future studies.

I found all of his analogies to be very helpful as the lessons progressed.

I have always enjoyed Chuck's teachings from the Old Testament, I have come to realize that the Whole Bible has been given for us to mine for its hidden treasures...

My favorite course so far! Definitely worth the time!!

Succinct practical insights from an experienced teacher.

Chuck Pike is a wonderful teacher! Thanks

As always, I agaped the content, and I phileo you! Thanks brother Chuck!!!

Explained some hard Old Testament stories

This was an interesting course! I am not a Bible teacher or anything of the sort, but I still enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone interested in learning the Bible!

I highly recommend this course! It changed the way I think about the Old Testament and makes me want to study it more.

Thank you to Chuck for sharing his time and passion for learning. I find original thinking to be rare for me, so being able to quickly hear from anyone who has spent a long time putting lessons together is an ongoing blessing. I think Chuck would agree to quote Issac Newton: " If I have seen further than others it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants".

This course was truly a blessing! To my shame I must admit that I've never studied scripture like this. The last lesson on Judges 19 truly was amazing and opened my eyes to the error of my ways and to the validity of studying the Bible like this. What a blessing! Thank you for this lesson. I suggest everyone take this course. Your studies will be life changing.

Very worthwhile and challenging course. Most of the pointers can be applied to Simply diligent Bible study even if you or not in a position to teach

I'm excited to begin studying the word of God using all the tools and insights I learned in this course.

An excellent example of a way to mine more nuggets out of the Old Testament.
