Society of the Good Shepherd is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to Christian education and discipleship. We provide Christian teaching, publishing, a telephone hotline, account and task coordination services, and church calendar reminders.

Society of the Good Shepherd sends the account notifications, selected work alerts and church calendar reminders that subscribers request from our own services. Organizations whose members use our coordination application are recipients of these service notifications; they do not send their own campaigns under this registration.
Account and work alerts and church reminders have separate consent choices. You can decline texts and continue using your account, calendar and ministry resources. Calling the hotline, church membership, employment or a number in a directory does not subscribe you.
Eligible signed-in users choose whether to subscribe, enter their own number and verify it by texting the one-time command displayed on the website to 717-716-7777. The code is displayed on the website, not sent as a text. After verification, text START for a consent confirmation, then return to select and save alert categories. START alone selects no categories. Messaging remains subject to service activation.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to stop texts from this number across its programs or HELP for help. If you previously sent STOP, send START before the verification command as well.
We will not share mobile information or messaging consent with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. WhatsApp has a separate consent choice.
