MCA (11 of 14): Faith of the Founding Fathers #1

David Bercot April 14, 2020

People can proof text history just like they can proof-text the bible or any other subject. For example, you can pick quotations to paint the founding fathers as devout Christians, atheists, or agnostics depending on your agenda.

In this lesson, after exploring primary sources himself, Bercot discusses the religious convictions of four key founding fathers who are considered conventional Christians: Samuel Adams, Patrick Henry, Alexander Hamilton, and John Jay.
