Deepens my understanding of the early Christians!
This course really deepened my understanding of the early Christians. I also really enjoyed the modules where David read large portions of the writings. I have a set of the ANF writings so I’m starting to read through those, but it was helpful to hear excerpts and motivated me to learn more. Grateful for the work that’s been put in to understanding the early church and the emphasis on going to the primary sources rather than merely positing or speculating about the way things could have been back then (which is basically what a lot of commentaries and other Christian writing is!).

Simple, Clear, Appealing Truths about the Holy Spirit
This course helps the Christian accurately understand the Holy Spirit and His purpose. It is as refreshing as the description Christ gave of the Holy Spirit when He said, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink… out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. But this He spoke concerning the Spirit.”
Fascinating and refreshing!
This course was fascinating in that I have up, until discovering this material, heard so little about the early Christians, and it makes sense to me that they ought to be a resource by which we can better understand the teachings of Jesus and his apostles in the NT. The course was refreshing in that I’m so used to hearing scholars and theologians perform acrobatics around passages and ideas in order to make sense of them, when for the most part many of these passages shouldn’t be that hard to understand. I’m grateful to have taken this intro course and looking forward to diving into other material.
Clear teaching about salvation!
This course really helps to understand the biblical teaching about salvation. There is no topic more important in our lives. Highly recommended!
A Convincing Case for Jesus Christ
Chuck Pike sets a high bar for himself: proving beyond reasonable doubt that Jesus is the Son of God; looking almost exclusively at the Old Testament prophecies.
Very eye-opening, especially in some of the more obscure passages not commonly cited. Definitely has kindled a desire to study more prophecy.

My hope is that this series of lessons will strengthen the faith of Christians and open their eyes to the importance of the Old Testament. I also hope that these lessons will be useful in helping unbelievers come to faith in Jesus Christ, based on the evidence of the fulfilled prophecies that were written hundreds of years before the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.

The Holy Spirit
